not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but i absolutely LOVE when people portray ride the cyclone's cut characters (trishna, astrid, hank and corey) as a separate friend group from the choir. of course they can be a big friend group too but specifically them going on little adventures together

indian (her family moved to canada when she was a bit younger)

half norwegian through her mom

half irish canadian through her dad (ocean is her cousin through their dads being brothers)

half white american from montana through her mom

quarter french canadian & quarter korean through her father, but since the father was out of the picture since birth, she is extremely disconnected from her korean heritage

also i forgot to mention that she's noel's older half sister (by only about half a year) and they have the same father, both of them just have their moms' surnames

corey

half german through his mom

half brazillian through his dad

both parents moved to canada though, so he was born in canada

also ross is actually his middle name, the teachers call him that because his real joint surname is really long and therefore a huge mouthful
