HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANK!!
My little dragon turns 2 today, and to celebrate he's getting extra carrots, cilantro, and a bath! But Birblr, we would like your help celebrating. Here at Hankthebird, we are so appreciative of the birblr community and their constant commitment to the care and well-being of our feathered companions regardless of background, lifestyle, political orientation, nationality, convictions, etc.. The most important thing is the well-being of all of birblr's birds, regardless of the lives their human companions lead. And that's exactly the way it should be. So what does this have to do with helping Hank celebrate his birthday? Hank loves to make people happy, even those he doesn't know. And in the world today, or at least in the U.S., there is a major source of headache that seems to have been stressing out some of birblr (or at least on a few of your personal blogs I follow): the Presidential primaries. Hank has most graciously agreed to let me use his birthday as a kickoff for a campaign of my own that I will be continuing through November. I am asking for birblr to send me cute pictures, videos, gifs, and stories of your feathered (or canine or feline or reptilian, etc.) friends so that we can compile them to be used as a respite from all of the political animosity on the internet that at least from my point of view seems inescapable. Whether you #feeltheBern or are gaining #Marcomentum I'm sure we can all agree to #FeelTheBirb (P.S. I'll be compiling all of these under the hashtag #FeeltheBirb. Feel free to send me submissions, asks, or tag me in posts!) Thanks again for helping Hank celebrate his birthday; it means a lot to us!
