Every time I look at this art piece by Hano (@nyaaan63) I smile like a dang schoolgirl. I'm never going to get over this commission.
Actually, the fun little tidbit of this piece is that it's set in Hano's SNK Rock Band AU, which ever since I saw it for the first time, have absolutely been captivated by it. As someone who likes rock in general, the over all energy of their Rock Band AU is just so good. The boys on stage, looking like they're having the best time of their lives. Some of the gang, in the audience cheering for their favorite band member. It's amazing. I hope you guys have seen that artwork because it is absolutely fire. (Hano also has a lot of great artwork in the canon setting as well as in other fandoms, definitely recommend their work).
So, just having the chance for Kristina to be in this particular AU is such a dream~
As always, in every universe, she has a hard crush on Reiner. She loves Reiner in every universe. I don't make the rules. And having this guitar lesson with the man himself is an experience and a memory that she will always cherish.

The Koshare are the sacred clowns of the Hopi nation. In this painting by Kristi Davis, they are shown pulling back the sky to allow the dawn to break through.

Koshari (Koshare), Koyala, Hano, or Tewa are the names of a clown that is often seen on the Hopi Mesas. In the Hopi tradition, the Sacred Clown Kachina frequently disrupts, making a mess of some of the most vital and fundamental rituals, acting out and exaggerating improper behavior.

The Clown. Art by Lindsay D. Williams, from Desert Illuminations Tarot.
Today we feature “The Clown” which was based off the southwest clowns of the Hopi also known as the Koshare or Hano clown. Sacred clowns have served the function of helping to ease tension within society and used humor and satire to reinforce taboos and traditions. “The clown begins at zero. The essence of being human at its most youthful and childlike state. He/she/they is looking into the distance with a fresh perspective on its new journey in life. Ready to take on all of the unforeseen challenges on its path. There is still much to learn and many obstacles to cross but their lighthearted and positive attitude helps to navigate any tough situation that they might face” 🤡
