Chubby Neville Fest is back!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the second Chubby Neville fest and thank you for your enduring support . This fest is created to celebrate and appreciate chubby Neville and encourage more fan creations of him.

Guideline

All submissions need to be Neville centric.

Neville needs to be portrayed as chubby in all works.

We kindly ask that the submissions are created in a body positive perspective. If you‘re unsure whether or not your idea fits, feel free to reach us.

This is not an anonymous or an exchange fest.

You have until the 9th of June 2019 to create and post your works for the fest.

Submissions can be of any length, detail, or rating. Explicit works are welcome but not a requirement.

Check out last years masterlist for inspiration. :)

All pairings are welcome! Including M/M, M/F, multi and gen works without any pairing. 

Please make sure you use appropriate tags and warnings.

The sign-up form will remain open until the deadline, so feel free to join at any time.

Posting

Works should be posted to the Chubby Neville AO3 collection that will be available on the preceding Friday. There will be a post about this at the start of the weekend, the mods will also be contacting everyone who signed up through the form to make sure they don’t miss it. If you need any technical help, let us know and we’ll be happy to help you.

I know you said you haven't given it much thought, but if you have any thoughts about it please please share. I absolutely ADORE the ship

okay looks like it’s time to write some headcanons huh. you got me i’m v invested now 

(i did these pretty quickly and at about 11pm so some of them might not make sense and i might change my mind about some of them when i read over them again later but oh well i wanted to do this now so here you go)

i like to think that neville and hannah got close during their seventh year when they were in the DA again and then again in their seventh year redo. not dating-close at that point but good enough friends that they kept in contact after everything was over

they had HUGE crushes on each other but neither of them could tell (and everyone else 100% could) they thought they were just friends 

they didn’t immediately get together after the war bc they both (like everyone) needed time to process everything and whatnot 

but hannah ended up asking neville out bc neville just couldn’t believe that hannah liked him too. hannah only realised neville liked her bc ginny told her 

(more under the cut bc i got carried away)

they are a super cute and cheesy couple that get embarrassed and blush all the time but all their friends love them together 

okay so i looked hannah up on the hp wikia just bc i couldn’t remember much of what was canon about her and apparently she becomes landlady of the leaky cauldron which i didn’t know but ima run with it 

so she becomes landlady when they are still young and they aren’t married yet and they live together above it 

when neville isn’t teaching at hogwarts he spends as much time there with her as possible. he runs into his students all the time (who all love him and think it’s great how he lives above a pub!) neville always stops to talk to them (and grab a drink with ex-students too) and hannah will too if she has time/anything to say 

there are plants EVERYWHERE bc they are both little herbology nerds and i love them

there are both magical plants and (mostly) muggle plants because neville loves to buy hannah flowers and other plants he finds interesting/pretty

after a couple years, though they both love it there, hannah decides she wants to train as a healer so they move further north (bc apparently i hc hannah as northern now? im not sure whereabouts though) to settle down 

neville proposes in their back garden in their (huge) flower patch 

their (outdoor) wedding is beautiful with so many flowers!!! so pretty!!!

ALSO according to the wikia hannah applies to become the matron at hogwarts and YES

all of the students know that hannah and neville are married and half of the students think they are super cute and the other half (harmlessly) make fun of how cute they are together 

neville always blushes when the students joke with him about it but hannah just laughs it off (she’s used to it now but she does still blush sometimes)

they have 3 kids!! frank alice and heather. next gen is my favourite era so if you want more info about that then hit me up! my ocs are super fleshed out askdjadlk (and you can find them all and some more info here)

neville and hannah spend a lot of the festive season at home either just chilling by the fire, baking sweet treats or watching christmas movies. on very special occasions they’ll go out on a proper date, and this christmas they went looking at the christmas lights in hogsmeade.
