⮛ Aloe There

“Ah, serrah!” Hawke called out, his breath ragged, as if he was running from something.

“You! You look like a fine reasonable gentleman. Would you as to kindly please just take a few steps to the side?” He actually didn’t wait for the other to move and just grabbed him by the sides and placed him where he wanted him to be. He can always apologize later for the unwanted touching.

“Oh, here, please hold him for me” Out of his armor’s neck guard, he pulled out his mabari puppy and placed it in the man’s hands.

“Perfect!” And just on cue, something erupted from where they were standing a few moments ago. It was a giant carnivorous plant monster, looking a little bit worse than weary due to the multiple burns it suffered, and it isn’t hard to find out just who was the culprit. 

Hawke readied his staff and pointed the blade end towards the plant.

“Missed me, darling?”

“Ah, Mr. Shimada, what a surprise to run into you here.”

Nails clacked together as her fingers steepled. Talon had been trying to get their claws on the man for quite some time, and being one of the board members, she was well aware of this. It never interested her too much, but if it meant she could have a connection here in this city... Well, perhaps she’d dip her toes in.

“How nice it must be for you to be in a city where our organization isn’t hounding you consistently---as we are yet established here.”

Injured/Injury Starters

          “What can I say? I’ve got a way with words. Just not always a good way,” she tried to laugh before some blood, from a cut on the inside of her cheek, went down the wrong pipe. Milo started coughing before the sharp pain in her side caused her to hiss, grabbing hold of the still bleeding wound. The clothes around it had grown dark with her blood and it was beginning to drip down her leg. 

          “Ya know...when you ask someone if they’re gonna stab ya...ya never actually expect them to do it,” she offered another grin before moving to lean against the alley wall, sighing heavily. Without her regenerative ability, she was left wondering why she still remained reckless. No matter. “Didn’t mean to disturb you, just lost my balance before. Again, I apologize about that. Doesn’t look like any blood got on ya though.”

Pain. That’s all Samus could feel from being in the veil too long. It was harsh and made it a little hard to move but maybe hopefully after getting some items at a shop since she finally had the money and a walk around town would make her feel much better in no time. 

Still wouldn’t help her mood as she grumbled through town and running straight into someone she was walking behind without realizing it. Looking at him he was obviously not used to cold weather like this. He also looked incredibly lost. He had to be new.

Now, Samus didn’t really pay much attention to who was here or not unless they talked. So it was like she could truly know whether he was new, but it was also bleeding obvious how new he was.

“Sorry.” She apologized the second he had looked up at her. It was her fault for just walking down the street without paying attention.

“You look lost. Are you okay?” She asked. Now, she didn’t doubt he could get by himself, she could tell he knew how to protect himself. But at the same time directions were helpful. They were always helpful especially without a map.

Did this town even have a map? To her knowledge it seemed like it didn’t, and honestly she was used to not having a map anyways. Samus did understand not everyone went planet exploring.
