You okay buddy?
I felt a dark, yet soothing presence whenever he was around. Nothing fragile accompanied his demeanor, so you'd think there wasn't a point sharp enough to pierce his outer shell. Yet, well into any day he allowed a little sparrow to perch on his shoulder. Oh, how he opened up; no hours, days, months or even years could withstand the stories he told, or had yet to tell. It hadn't been a matter of the sparrow really understanding, it was just a bird after all. If he spoke too loud, it'd become spooked, if he confronted it, it would become flighty, and if he tried to own it? It'd simply fly away. It mattered to him the bird trusted him enough to land onto him, that there was peace between them. If there had been any doubt at all in either, the sparrow would for sure maintain the comfortable distance between them atop a branch just out reach, but close enough to sate its curiosity. It meant something good to him, except for when it flew away. He hated that; that uncontrollable motor driven instinct that causes the sparrow to escape him every time he draws near. It grew, his anger swelling inside him like pregnant embers, so much he couldn't keep his voice down anymore. That stirred more strife inside him, no longer able to spend more than moments with the only good part of him that existed. Once the storm inside him passed, he witnessed himself in the remains of the peace he thought he had. There hadn't been peace, he was in denial. The sparrow was foolish, and he - he was naive. When he finally reveled the small bird he found only a trail of blood, and a single feather. It was gone, and he was alone.
So I was looking at McCree’s Scrooge skin and I know I’m not going to be the first to have made this observation just by the sheer fact that the internet exists, but I noticed the letters on his belt buckle: GAMF.
Now I have no idea what it’s supposed to mean, but going by his default skin displaying BAMF (and of course the nature of the Scrooge skin itself), I imagine the intent was “grinch ass motherfucker” or some shit.
Except the first thought that hit me while trying to figure it out was “gay ass motherfucker.” And now I refuse to read it as anything but. I WILL TAKE THAT TO MY GRAVE.
