You wanna do something right this time? Have the decency to take responsibility for your choices and actions. Until then, our friendship is off because I can’t even deal looking at your face, it makes me absolutely sick.

Shoutout

Just wanted to give a shoutout to @tea-uesdays, @jonnybfright, @noyaz, @danseobliques, @clvcles, Laura, Lea, Cary, the other Alex, Aaron and J, who had to endure my anxious self within one hour of getting shit news and who actually managed to calm me down after dinner (I don’t know how the hell J did it, because I have no chill). You have all been really supportive these past few days while I've been driving you, everyone and myself nuts - your kindness has meant everything to me.

Thank you for being so patient with me and I don’t know what I did to deserve such good people in my life but I am SO grateful to have you in it. I don’t say it regularly enough because I’m always off doing something (and a good majority of us live in different countries) but I feel it, every day of my life. I love you all. x

Dear Followers: Your Safety Comes First

Hey guys,

I rarely make such long posts anymore but I want to share something that happened to me this morning with all of you. Should you find yourself in a similar situation, please please please always remember to put your safety first.

I live in a pretty good area of Sydney. However today at 6am, someone buzzed our apartment. As all of us were sleeping and obviously none of us were expecting anyone at that hour, we ignored the buzzer. Once again, this imbecile decided to buzz our apartment and as I sat up in bed, the buzzing stopped.

We waited, and heard nothing. A while later, (perhaps ten or fifteen minutes?) someone knocked four or five times on our door. Tempting as it was to yell at this fuckwit, I resisted the urge because I did not want to give them any clues as to who lived in our apartment, just in case they were trying to goad us into opening the door or letting them know that it was just us girls in the apartment.

A similar incident involving an intruder and my roommates has previously occurred in which he actually followed them up to our apartment corridor, and this really shouldn’t be happening in our area.

I later made a report to our lovely building manager who was extremely reassuring and said that he would make every attempt possible to identify the intruder, tighten security and also make a police report.

While we were fortunate that nothing happened to any of us, we have no way of finding out if this creep was simply opportunistic, or if they have been watching us - which was why I did not respond to either the buzzer, or the knocks on the door. This is especially important, if your front door, like ours, strangely does not have a peephole - we have no idea if the person was armed.

RESIST ALL ATTEMPTS TO RESPOND, NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING it may be to let them have a piece of your mind, and make calls to the appropriate people-in-charge who are able to help.
