How’d it go? I hope it went well!!

It did go well, thank you! I managed to talk for the majority of each session, which reduced the amount of time parents could ask questions (ha!), and parents seemed generally receptive and on board with what I was saying.

The only hiccup was when a parent asked me what poetry we were going to be studying, and I didn't have an answer since the poetry unit isn't until January and I haven't planned that far ahead yet. But oh well. I deflected it well enough and just moved on to the next question and sent parents on their way. And I haven't received any inquisitive or panicked e-mails yet, so I'm counting it all as a win :)

Thank you, lovely! I need it because even though I've done this before I really really hate it and parents are expecting teachers of a certain caliber and I definitely feel as if I've been winging these past 4 weeks.
