Stiles loves his friends, he really does. But as he’s making Derek’s latte, he catches what Scott’s written on Derek’s cup and groans.

“What are you, twelve? You know Derek already has my number. He’s had my number. We text every day,” Stiles says as he works on the latte.

Scott looks over at him from the register with the most innocent grin in the world and shrugs. “I know, but I wanted to make a statement.”

Stiles rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “You mean adding ‘+ SS’ underneath his name and drawing a heart around it wasn’t enough of a statement?”

“If you’re not going to flirt with him yourself, I’ll just flirt with him for you,” Scott says, shrugging.

Skeletons in the Closet

Stiles shrugged out of his jacket and opened the closet door. Two seconds later he fell to the ground with a screech with a skeleton on top of him.

By the time Stiles pulled himself out and stood up, he had calmed down enough to notice Derek’s jacket around the skeleton’s shoulders, and Stiles’ beanie over its head.  Stiles huffed out a breath, then stormed off to find Derek.

It didn’t really take that long, since the jerk was standing at the edge of the kitchen, shoulders shaking with silent laughter.

“Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, Der.  Hope you got your amusement for the day.” Stiles bit back a smile at the twinkle in Derek’s eyes.  “I almost died out there, and what is my husband doing?  Laughing.  Laughing at his poor, defenseless husband, who is a human , being attacked by a killer skeleton.”

Derek snorted, which, rude.

“I hate you.”

Derek’s mouth quirked up on the side and he tapped his finger on Stiles’ chest.  “That’s a lie.”

Ugh.  Smug fucker.  That’s okay. Derek could laugh all he wanted to.  Not just because Derek was gorgeous when he laughed, and Stiles totally didn’t go out of his way to make him laugh, but because Stiles had a plan. It was time to get Derek back.

Game on.

Teen Wolf fic rant!

Listen listen listen, stiles is my pack mom, derek is my alpha. Boyd, Erica, and Isaac are alive and well. Allison is still alive, Lydia is stiles bff,Scott is a very good friend and lovely beta. That how my favorite fics work. Okay? Okay? Jackson is my lovable ass hole and liam is a my little puppy and his cute friend mason is adorable. Ok but there needs to be more full shift wolf fics where derek gets like high off people scratching behind his ears and hes just really tactile because the wolf is just basic instinct and he finally feels safe enough to let go and everyone knows it (especially stiles and no one is allowed to bring up that day where he had to explain to his dad why they suddenly had enough fresh meat to feed a small country and nope there was definitely not a wolf trying to climb in his window last night come on dad there's not been wolves around here for decades)
