I love “Say yes to the dress” since it’s usually such lovely show. The episode (12th from season 14) now coming from TV must be the best one I’ve seen! <3
There’s absolutely SO LOVELY and WONDERFUL woman who’d been serving in air forces for 10 years and on Iraq 4 years. She got injured there and Kleinfeld’s team, with the family, decided to surprise her with a VIP day! On top of that, when she was trying on the first dress Randy stated; “You don’t need to worry about the price today. We will pay the dress for you.” That poor lovely woman fell on her knees in the fitting room, crying. She was so amazed and so thankful.
She ended up picking very lovely dress which was PERFECT for her! Now she’s picking shoes and she’s so overwhelmed! Awwhh! I’m not crying happy tears... I’m not crying happy tears.
I never cry if something bad happens to people, but when such lovely things like these happens... Yes, I cry. Even few tears, but still.
I recommend to watch that episode if you can! It is lovely! More things like this should be shown on TV instead of all negative things / news / series etc.
I struggle a lot of with mental health & anxiety because of some past traumas that I have experienced with my family, and the one sure thing that would always always calm me down and make me feel better was Bob’s Burgers. I know it seems silly and ridiculous, but for some reason that goofy show always made me smile and always made me feel like everything would be okay no matter what I was going through, and I called it my “happy show”. I watched it religiously, everyday, no matter where I was or what I was doing. I was heartbroken when I found out my happy show was being taken off Netflix and called my friend crying about it because I was scared that the next time I would be feeling alone and terrified in the house I wouldn’t have my little happy crutch that would make me smile.
Instead of telling me to just suck it up and handle anxiety in a different way, he told me he would figure something out and to keep smiling until then. A few days later I went to his house and he had downloaded all of the episodes for me on to this flash drive so I can take it wherever I’m going and always have my happy show. I think I’ll keep him ♥️
So long story short, I hope you all can find your happy shows or music or whatever it may be because sometimes when things are hard there is nothing wrong with finding something that makes your heart feel warm again and gets you through until the next day.
