Happy Monday, fam!! I’m back from Chicago and feeling more powerful than ever✊🏾 This past weekend was literally an unintentional retreat for activists and I’m so grateful to have had this amazing experience! 💫 —— The best part about it was not just the events that occurred, but the wonderful people I was surrounded by and having the privilege of learning more about their brilliant ideologies. It warms my heart to have bonded with such fantastic activists unexpectedly and effortlessly, and that they made me feel welcomed in a movement that usually ignores people who look like me. —— Also, the panel last Friday was actually my first speaking experience! It felt so good talking about what I love doing and the people who I do it for🤘🏾 I really did represent this weekend and can’t wait to do it all again! A Realistic College Expereince

So I had this #dream the other night that I was back in my college house and one of our usual #happyfuntimes was going on. All of the sudden lights start flashing and everyone runs out of the house. I didn’t get the memo so I’m just standing there while the police barge in yelling underaged drinking and pointing at me (mind you I’m well over 21).

So I’m sitting in my chair not knowing what to do and the police continue and say they need to confiscate this house for evidence. So they get a large police tow-truck and rope around the house and drag it away.

Now in this hyper-realistic dreamland of mine, physics don’t apply, so they drag the house away . . . with me still in it. But they only rip away the walls. So I’m just left sitting in a #kitchen with no walls.
