Pink, Grey, White
Super-late responses strike again!
parents, personality and “things”, again.
Pink: 4 facts about my parents.
1. They’re photographers. But they don’t earn money by photography directly, but rather, they created a company that makes photography tours all over the world, thus giving them opportunity to travel and make great photos themselves while they’re also giving others the opportunity and educating them. (Ingenious, really.) Dad’s photography website is here. I hope Mom will make her own sooner or later. :/
2. Though education-wise, Dad is a computer programmer and Mom is an engineer. Aviation engineer. She also studied painting later, when both me and my brothers already had been born. They studied at the same uni and met there, both coming from much smaller towns (Mom from a much, much smaller town but only 3 hours car ride away, while Dad from Syberia). Welp, that’s more than one fact.
3. There really is an amazing story of how my Dad and some of his IT pals, young and creative, invented some stuff (some program or code, I don’t remember) that was later used by some shitty company to earn quite a lot of money without giving them any credit. Or how they managed to get by in the 90s.Or how Dad was one of the original creators of the biggest Russian internet store and even its director for a while. :o I just, I’m a bit too proud sometimes.
4. They’re amazing because, uh, photography? Travelling? Did I mention snowboarding and diving and everything? D: Which makes it a bit hard to compete, you know. But with all that, they still managed to raise three children and be kind and caring and wonderful.
White: 3 facts about my personality.
1. I don’t have any problems writing to people first or inviting them somewhere. (In fact, most of the time it’s me doing it.) Or asking for help if I need it. Well, usually. Lately, being ill… it’s not that easy sometimes. But I still like giving compliments out of the blue. I definitely can be coming on too strong; if I want to become friends with someone, I usually, well. Act on it. Relationships are something I like working on.
2. I’m very emotional and not at all (закрытый). I don’t - I can’t, it’s like an unwritten rule inside me, - lie when asked how I am doing. And I don’t think I should hide how I feel from people around me.
3. A very big part of me is how I believe that everything happens when it should - and that there is a perfect time for everything. This means both that I often wait until “the right time” comes to read/watch/do something, but also - also I think that it’s possible to experience everything /perfectly/. That is, if I am going to read a nice, comforting story, I better do it wrapped in a blanket and with a cup of hot tea in my hands. If I’m going to finally watch the final episode of something important to me, I’m better be at the absolute emotional height of anticipation, have cool food and comfortable circumstances etc. It can’t be an off-hand thing. It’s like… a rule. I break it sometimes, but I do kinda live by it. I won’t, generally, do/watch/read/listen to something until - unless - I feel like it.
Grey: 2 facts about my favourite things
