Quick life update. TW for SA and SH:
So as many of you know I was the victim of very uncomfortable sexual harassment at work. The whole thing was as irritating as it was utterly creepy. There were DAILY and MULTIPLE comments on my appearance, unwanted gift, and even photos taken of me without consent. In addition to constant bothering of me ALL DAY LONG via talking, teams, and texts. I was so overwhelmed it was making me afraid to come to work and it was disrupting the entire office. I was made the butt of office gossip because of it as well.
I complained to my manager and worked out a plan with a therapist. I wore my large headphones so he couldn’t communicate with me. And I had a private meeting with my manager to discuss my mountain of issues.
I am 100% sure nothing was done.
Other than he pitched a childish fit and moved desks one morning, away from the rest of us. And closed everyone off. Fine. Be a man baby. At least it’s finally quiet.
Until yesterday.
Now most of you know I’m a domestic abuse and rape survivor. There’s a good reason why I haven’t dated in 12 years. Most men TERRIFY me. So this whole thing has been a nightmare for me.
Yesterday after I got here at 7:30 (early) to catch up on work…no one was here but him. The second I put my stuff down he was in my business asking what problem I have with him.
You all know how timid I usually am. Abuse does that. Also, this was TERRIFYING for me. Retaliation. It was threatening. I’ve had nightmares again since this all started and last night was a million times worse because I was so triggered.
But I stood firm and said “NO. I AM NOT DOING THIS.” Turned around and unpacked my bag and booted my computer.
He sulked away and was a crybaby bitch the rest of the day. I told my manager what happened.
I’m giving it through today.
If nothing is done about him I’m going to HR Monday. I’m sick of it.
This job is otherwise my happy place.
I will NOT have a shitty ass man take that, OR ANYTHING ELSE, from me.
So now you all know.
I’m mentally exhausted, but my therapist and I worked through how my conversation with HR should go and I practiced with her. I got this.
This guy is creepy, often makes violent and unsettling comments, and wouldn’t understand emotional regulation if it bit him in the ass. Which is sad because he’s in his 40’s.
I wouldn’t put it past him to lash out.
Due to this, I want HR involved. And my manager to step the fuck up.
Period. Full stop.
So yeah…cross fingers for me.
Shut up headphones for tax.
Men are so damn creepy sometimes. Like at this point I don't ever want to be hit on ever again. Keep your grown ass out of the store if all you gonna do is creep and ask for stuff for free. Like wtf is wrong with people I'm so unnerved and my mood is soured. Do not ask me out to dinner, and when I say no don't try to "pursuade" me. Don't try to share your chocolate with me that you freakin ate off and make a joke about trying some chocolate. You older than my father for the love of God. Have some decency and leave me alone. I love my job but I'm seriously uncomfortable right now. Thanks for absolutely nothing you selfish bastards.
Also, fuck off and dont come back.
A National Park Service biologist flew a trans flag in the park while off-duty. Then, they were fired.
The court ruling revealed that Joslin was a few weeks shy of completing their two-year trial period when the termination occurred.

two-year trial period? this is chicanery to make sure people will be brainwashed and trained to not claim their rights for fear of losing their jobs.
Federal judge rejects fired biologist’s free speech lawsuit over Yosemite trans flag demonstration
A trans pride flag hangs on Yosemite's El Capitan
Dr. Shannon Joslin, a biologist at Yosemite, was terminated after a group they were with while they were off-duty, unfurled a trans-pride flag over El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. On Friday, a federal judge dismissed the case. (Pattie Gonia)

What began as an act of solidarity ultimately took a bitter turn for a National Park Service biologist.
After helping display a pink, white and blue transgender flag at El Capitan in May 2025, Shannon Joslin, who uses “they/them” pronouns, found themselves at the center of controversy, claiming they were wrongfully terminated for their involvement and that their free speech rights had been violated.
In February 2026, Joslin filed a lawsuit against several government agencies and officials, alleging unlawful and retaliatory action in response to peaceful off-duty expression. They sought reinstatement to their job, a ruling that the government acted illegally, protection from criminal charges, and financial damages.
On Friday, a federal judge dismissed the case, ruling the court has no authority to force the park service to reinstate Joslin’s position.
However, the ruling did not settle the broader dispute surrounding Joslin’s firing. U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston said that Joslin used the wrong process to challenge the firing.
Joslin was on their day off from work at the time, installing the flag as a “private citizen,” they said.
A week after the demonstration, Joslin was contacted by a Park Service law enforcement officer about the flag and told them they were “under criminal investigation.” In a follow-up interview, Yosemite’s acting deputy superintendent issued a termination letter.
The court ruling revealed that Joslin was a few weeks shy of completing their two-year trial period when the termination occurred.
According to their employer, Joslin “failed to demonstrate acceptable conduct” during the trial period by participating in a demonstration without the proper permit, “thus (circumventing) rules applicable to all park visitors.” Joslin later received a form, which cited a presidential executive order and unspecified “unacceptable conduct,” the court ruling said. Soon after, Joslin posted on social media expressing outrage, and the story gained traction online.
“I want my rights and I want my career back,” Joslin wrote in an August 2025 Instagram post. “No one, in any of my roles has EVER had negative comments about my conduct. I treat people with the time, patience and respect I hope they will give to me.” Joslin can challenge their termination through the Civil Service Reform Act, which protects federal employees from unfair practices and political retaliation, according to Thurston.
In fact, Joslin began this process by filing a complaint with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, or OSC, in December 2025, alleging that the government’s actions “prohibited personnel practice.” “My firing isn’t just about one ranger,” Joslin told the Times in 2025. “It’s about whether everyone has the right to speak freely in the United States. This kind of targeting threatens the rights of civil servants, and by extension, all Americans, to speak freely.” The OSC has up to 240 days to respond to Joslin’s complaint. The deadline is August 3, 2026. However, due to a government shutdown and a backlog of cases, the OSC is expected to delay its response.
