Episode 13: script excerpt - in front of the mansion
LWZ: we've arrived.
Pei su opens his eyes, his expression cold. He opens the door without a word.
LWZ: wait, Pei su, what's wrong?
Pei su's eyes are still cold. There is a rare look of unbearable impatience on his face.
Pei su: I'm fine.
Pei su pushes the door open, stands up, and stumbles.
LWZ gets off the car and catches up to Pei su.
LWZ: Pei su!
Pei su keeps walking as if he hasn't heard.
LWZ frowns and suddenly grabs his elbow.
LWZ: Pei su, I'm speaking to you, are you listening?
Unexpectedly Pei su's reaction is even bigger than LWZ's. Pei su quickly pulls his hand away and uses the momentum to push LWZ.
Pei su: I said I'm fine!
LWZ did not expect Pei su to push him and stumbles back a step. A raging fire erupts in his heart
LWZ: Pei su, don't look for trouble!
Pei su does not turn around. He is silent for a moment, as if suppressing something, then comes to, as if finally picking up the mask he always wears, pretending.
Pei su: I didn't clean the house, so I won't be inviting Shixiong inside. As for Shixiong's wounds, remember to go to the hospital to get them treated.
Pei su nods at LWZ leisurely, and walks towards the mansion door.
LWZ watches Pei su's back coldly, until the moment Pei su is opening the door. LWZ suddenly speaks up.
LWZ: if you want to get lost then do so.
LWZ returns to the car.
Pei su's hand pauses at the door upon hearing this, his expression frozen for a moment, then continues as if nothing happened
In the rearview mirror, Pei su's figure slowly disappears
LWZ looks away, but notices the empty water bottle Pei su had left in the car. The bottle is dented from Pei su squeezing it.
LWZ suddenly opens the car door and rushes over. By the time LWZ catches up, Pei su is already inside.
LWZ: hey, I mean you...
He sees Pei su shake, his hand on the door handle, as if wanting something for support. However with Pei su's push the door opens inwards. Pei su stumbles and kneels.
His knee hits the ground with a loud noise
LWZ: Pei su!
The screen turns to black
