I'm stuck with a tedious and mindless task at work, which gives my brain plenty of opportunity to rot about clones. Specifically, about Hardcase and Fox.

They both have stocking kinks.

It's true. They told me themselves.

Hardcase likes to rip them, and you can bet he's keeping them as a trophy at the end of the night. No official word on what he does with them afterward, but rumors abound.

Fox? He brings you the expensive shimmersilk ones as gifts, and you know better than to ask where he got them. Or at least, you would, if you could think while he has your legs wrapped around his head as he— *blaster shot*

Clone Headcanon

- everyone thinks Hardcase is the silliest clone.

- it's actually Rex.

- he is uber commited to his duty, but part of what makes him such a great leader is that he has a quality that just makes you fcking love him.

- he has ridiculously good natural comedic timing. He chooses the perfect times to use humour to keep morale up without realising he's doing it.

- he's super goofy. He dad dances in the middle of 79's and you bet he knows the whole rap in Waterfalls.

- he's got a lil bit of that sass! It gets worse when he's drunk and Cody may or may not have seen him death drop once (three times).

- at the end of the night, he is insistent that his men get food "to avoid hangovers" and marches them to the takeout place round the corner. Everyone rolls with it because they all understand their captain just wants a pizza.

Clone HCs: Hardcase

So I think that even if the clones probably have some genetic tweaking that makes them tougher/heal faster than normal human beings, there's still basic wear and tear on parts of the body, and Hardcase is not exception to that. So personal HCs (which are also in a fanfic I'm working on) about his physical state

He's had surgery on both his shoulders due to the strain of using heavy weaponry like his Z6. My dad used to lug around a 30+ pound camera on his shoulders/in his hands frequently, it's a pretty common thing for some of the ligaments/joints in their shoulders to get fucked up. Scars on his shoulders are fairly small and he still has problems from time to time

Also some canon source somewhere states he's been in the med ward more than any other clone in Kix's records - there's bound to be body parts that got blown off or are missing. (Personal HC: one of his legs from the knee down is a prosthetic, he just rarely takes his armor off so it's not obvious.)

I think honestly that Hardcase and other heavy-gunners would probably have a lot of chronic pain - some deal with it with basic pain killers (which leads to a lot of health issues when it inevitably becomes an addiction) and others deal with it by...imbibing.

I didn't decide Hardcase would smoke that gud kush, the fandom did and I just adopted the idea

His tattoos cover about 80% of his body, and he's very proud of them

We all know the clone troopers are strong, but I think he's got to be a bit more bc he might be a bit of a gym rat - gotta keep in tip-top shape to lug around the big guns and explosives. Also to get some of that excess energy out of his system. So he's got a bit of extra bulk and the calories he has to consume in order to maintain a healthy body gives him a slightly different build. Very much a 'functionally fit' guy with a bit extra (and stretchmarks, oooooo)

so hardcase would be SO affectionate???? but like, the clumsy kind. like open mouthed kisses on your skin and sweaty hands and bumping his nose or forehead with yours a bit too hard.

but he's so sweet. so soft. baby just wants to make things right, so he would try so hard.

dancing with you at all times even as you wait for him on the hangar he would def sneak out from behind and starts swaying with you. loves kissing your cheek and holding your hand.

but my love 'case is more than just touches. he's not good with words, but actions always speak louder. he does prefer showing how much he loves you by touching you, though. maybe taking an eyelid from your skin as you're talking, or fixes your hair if it looks a bit messy, or does your shoelaces just so you don't have to.

but he likes to brush your hair too, even if it's short and you don't even brush it, and leaves the last cookie for you and always brings that weird candy you like that tastes like trash because he knows how much you like them and he asks fives to help him fix your radio because he knows how upset you get when you don't have music around your house, he waters your plants for you when he remembers (it's not usual, but it's appreciated) and helps you clean around sometimes.

it's in the little things, he shows how much he loves you. i think he's a man of loud touches, simple actions and few words, but he always makes sure you know how much he loves you.

with his brothers though, he's more of loud actions, simple words and few touches. jumping in to save whoever he can first, say "good job" or whatever to the shinies and a few pats in the back right after.

hardcase is just too sweet and NEEDS to be protected at all costs. i love he.

I have this headcanon that Kix is a horrible shot and is only given a blaster in case he's on his own with wounded men. Because the only two times we see him use a blaster, he misses and is either pulled away or someone else takes over for him.

I totally believe that, and it does sound really accurate from what I remember. I also read somewhere that he prefers to help his brothers rather than shoot the enemy, so it probably doesn’t bother him either.

You know what else is funny? I headcanon that Fives is a horrible shot. That’s why you only see him able to hit things at close-range. He misses droids all the time. It took him several shots to hit whatever the dude’s name was, the Christopher Walken alien on the Citadel. He misses every shot until he’s in melee range when him, Rex, and Anakin storm the shuttle to rescue Tup.

Next time you watch TCW, keep an eye out. Fives can’t hit the broadside of a barn with a gun. It’s hilarious. Hardcase saves his ass quite a few times, because Hardcase is basically a sniper. He probably only uses a rotary blaster because he likes screaming at the enemy while chasing after them with a big gun.
