Friday mornings are probably the realest work out of my week. Every Friday a group of hard core dudes come to the gym to train. The group is small in numbers, but they KILL IT. Everyone has to hold his own, no quitting here. Today’s work out was challenging, mentally and physically. A 5-55 is a workout with 5 exercises din a downward ladder from 10 reps à 1 rep with NO rest. I love getting my work out done in the morning, especially on Fridays. When I leave my house at 5 am, I feel like I am about to conquer the world. I am done with the most challenging part of my day by the time everyone else in the world is waking up. It is so easy to skip a work out on Friday; it’s even easier to skip an AM work out. Everyone is held accountable within the work out, and you better bring it! The entire work out only took about 20 minutes to finish, but damn it was hard. Immediately after finishing my workout I stepped outside for some air. Lets get this clear for AIR, NOT TO PUKE. As soon as I walked out the door, I could not believe that was only 20 minutes. If someone held a gun to my head and told me to do another rep, they would have to shoot me on the spot.
