During the 90s, I was involved with the Goebel “Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection,” which brought the characters into sculpted form. Here is one of the drawings I did depicting the final shot in Marvin the Martian’s inaugural cartoon, 1948’s “Haredevil Hare.” I think I saw this one in some phase of being sculpted, but don’t know if it ever went on to be produced.

On July 24, 1948, Marvin the Martian was first introduced in the animated short "Haredevil Hare." In the short, Bugs Bunny becomes the first Earthling to be sent to the moon in a rocket. To his surprise, there is also an expedition to the moon from Mars consisting of Marvin and his dog K-9. ("Haredevil Hare", Movie Short, event)
