How I think my AOT ships would spend their day together in modern au :

1. EreMika (not s1 eren or s4 eren. just eren)

of course they would spent most of their time getting drunk in a party or street club

mikasa would rule the dance floor while eren will be watching her from a distance, sipping alcohol, secretly being proud asf.

only paid attention to each other. nobody else seems to exist

chaotic. just chaotic vibes.

2. AruAni

when annie told him she wouldn't mind wherever he took her to, armin can't think of anything else but the ocean

they would get into deep conversations and plan their future together

comfortable long silence

one of them would break the silence with a sudden "I love you" (most likely to be armin)

3. Springles

sasha suggesting buying more foods because the fridge is empty already

"but sasha I just bought a whole new stock last week"

them trying to help a random lost child but ended up making her cry

both forgot to bring money

during a ride, "levi, why are you holding my hand?" "I'm scared" "how are you scared when you literally-" "I'm scared. now shut up"

hange eventually hold his hands back and NEVER LET IT GO after that. "hange your hands are sweaty" "oh are you uncomfortable?" "... no"

them ended up buying a couple shirt after hange forcefully begged

Sometimes things look ugly when one of your alters is trying to grow past what they were made for. 

Shade is a trauma holder, a secret keeper. He was made to keep us safe in situations where it was best to stay quiet and out of the way, emotionless. But his cup is kinda... overflowing. Dude made a whole website the other day to cope, reached out to a crisis line because he couldn’t handle the emotions he was having, didn’t know where they were coming from. Now he’s all holed up inside, mute. 

I don’t know what that means for him or if it’s a good path to take, but growing pains are real and they aren’t pleasant. Growing pains aren’t just for bodies, they’re for emotional development too.
