i didn’t realize the first time around but in 2.09 when marcus goes to the neighbors’ house and is calling out for someone to answer, the only name he actually calls is harper’s. marcus positively intervening in this other abused child’s life and then continuing to protect her and her really trusting him and their precious relationship and UGH
