i like how with verity and marcus we have two gay characters with two completely different views on religion in regards to their sexuality. verity seems to be understandably very non-religious given her experiences. with marcus on the other hand, it seems to be a non-issue. he's completely reconciled being gay with being religious. it'll be interesting to see if verity finds out about marcus and how they interact going forward
