Make Another Wish
It was only a match. He had produced it out of nowhere, but it was the sweetest gesture. He held it up to her and began to sing.
“Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear (Y/N)
Happy birthday to you
Make a wish.”
He hadn’t much in this world. His family was horrible to him and didn’t allow him much. They’d even send him away to a reform school. She protested every year, but no avail. He was sent away. Left to grow up in a school where no one talked to her. Not like Harry did. Her birthday was in the summer just before school. Just like his was but he always insisted to at least celebrate hers.
She smiled as he sang her the song, and at the request of a wish, she pretended to think. She wished for it every year, and still he was sent away. But she would never stop until she knew he was happy.
She blew out the match before it burned to close to his fingers and she gave him a hug. “You didn’t have to do this. Really.”
“Of course I do. I miss you during the school year. I gotta do as much as I can with you.”
She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, as they were sitting side by side on the merry-go-round. “Oh Harry. Every year I wish that you’d find a place of your own. A place where you’re happy and free. You’re to good for this place, for that family. I wish we could take you in. But..”
“Hey..” Harry wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer. “I understand completely. You don’t have to feel bad. As for your wish, well..” He then pulled away, looking down to the side and scratching his head.
“Huh? What is it?” She looked at him with concerned eyes.
He didn’t speak for a good while, and she let him mull it over. Whatever it was, it was serious. He only furrowed his brow when something weighed heavily on his mind. Was he leaving the school now that he was able to? Where would he go? What would he do? Still she stayed quiet and let him think about it.
“I..” He had no idea where to begin. How could he tell her? “I am happy. It’s just..” Could he risk it all and make her a target? “It’s just..” No. he wouldn’t. He couldn’t. Not with the war about to break out. She could live her life completely unaware of the danger that faced her. “It’s just I decided to leave. Before my birthday, I’m leaving.”
“What?” Her hand shot to grip his arm. It was such short notice. “I’m glad you’re leaving that horrible family… but why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
“I didn’t want to worry you. I know how your mind works.” At that, he flicked your forehead. Making you chuckle lightly. “Besides, I’ll be safe and you’ll be safe too.”
“Me? What do I need to be safe from?” At this he went silent.
“Well, nothing I suppose. Here.” Out of nowhere he pulled another match and struck it. She smiled feeling bashful of all the attention he gave her. “Make another wish.”
finally got around to playing Hogwarts Mystery and lemme tell you, i love my boys. and by boys i mean baby me (merlin birdhat) and his best friend rowan

Complicated Favor (Harry Potter x Reader)
“Do I have too?” (Y/N) asked, as she scrubbed another dish.
(Y/N) was in the kitchen washing the dishes, when her mother approached her about going out with her friend’s son. Her mother and Petunia Dursley were friends and they thought it would be a good idea if their children were to have a date. (Y/N) wasn’t exactly thrilled about it. She met Dudley once, a year ago, and he wasn’t her type. She loved her mother and would do what she asked, but not without trying to get out of it first.
“I don’t even know him,” she said, rinsing off the dish.
“Well,” her mother thought for a moment. “Petunia said he attends Smeltings Academy and that’s a very prestigious school.”
“I suppose it is,” (Y/N) replied, using a towel to dry the dish.
“Oh! I do remember her saying he was a boxing champion. That’s pretty impressive huh?” her mother said with enthusiasm.
“I guess,” she said, placing the last dish in the cabinet.
“So you’ll do it?” her mother asked hopeful.
“Yeah I’ll do it,” she said with a small smile as her mother embraced her.
“Thanks sweetie,” her mother said, giving her a peck on her head.
Petunia hung up the phone and rushed over to Dudley, who was sitting on the dining table with his father, Vernon, and his cousin Harry.

One Way Or Another
Request: Hi there, I was wondering if I could get a Professor Snape x reader please? Where the reader is a fellow professor who just started at Hogwarts & they're married but no one knows about it, not even Dumbledore. And as time goes on, staff gets suspicious as wherever reader is, Snape isn't far behind. Students gets suspicious as with reader around, Snape seems much more pleasant to be around & doesn't snap as much. Until one day, something happened revealing their relationship. Your choice. TQ x
Warnings: age gap(?), you’re 21 and Snape is 38 (book/movie canon age)
Note: colin creevey is alive in this!!! that b didn’t deserve to die so im bringing him back. also, sorry I’ve been MIA lately, I literally feel as if I’m losing sense of time during quarantine, lol. I hope you guys enjoy this! WEAR YOUR MASKS!

It wasn’t very often that the students of Hogwarts saw Severus Snape smile; the times they did, it was probably when Slytherin won House Points or Gryfindor got in trouble for something. Either way, the chances of seeing him smile were incredibly rare.
Until you started teaching there.
Professor Flitwick had lived his prime, teaching Charms for a multitude of years and deciding to give his position to a student who graduated about 3 years ago. He remembered you, knowing you were top of his class and actually wanted to pursue a career in Charms later in life. So when he felt like his time was overspent at Hogwarts, an owl was sent your way immediately.

Severus was surprised at first when the letter for you arrived at his doorstep - you usually never get mail. However, when he saw who it was from, he was even more confused. Professor Flitwick?
Well yes, he knew you were top of Flitwick’s class - and his, too, if he wants to brag - but did you still keep in touch with him?
Somehow summoning you, you came in through the front door, carrying a couple bags worth from a few stores within Hogsmeade. You knew Diagon Alley would be crowded with new - and current students - looking for school supplies, so you decided to go to the small town instead.
Seeing your husband standing at the kitchen table looking at something quite confusingly, you set your bags down and headed over to him; “everything alright, my love?”
Taking a glance at what he was holding in his hands, you hummed, “ah, Professor Flitwick. He and I have been talking about me taking his place this year at Hogwarts.”
Severus glanced over at you as you took the envelope from his hands, “really? Darling, how come this is the first time I’m hearing this?”
You shrugged, “well I haven’t said yes yet, so I didn’t want you to get hopeful. . .or upset that I was even considering it.” Digging your nail into the crevis of the envelope, you slid it across, opening the letter.
Your husband tilted his head, “why would I be upset? I’d love to see you at work every day.”
Giggling, you set the letter down and wrapped your arms around your husband’s waist, “and have you give up your big, bad persona? People would know you’re a giant teddy bear, Severus!”
He frowned, but a playful grin played on his lips, “looks like nobody can know that we’re married then.” His hands played at your hair as you laughed.
“Does this mean I’ll have to temporarily go back to L/N?” you asked, sticking your bottom lip out.
Severus pulled you off his waist, “even Dumbledore doesn’t know that we are married, love. Looks like you’re Miss/Mister L/N on the streets, and -”
“Severus Snape, you finish that sentence and I will embarrass you in front of the whole school.”
You got back to Flitwick right away - and of course, the answer was yes.

The first few months were a bit rocky, of course, as you couldn’t go and kiss your husband like it was any regular thing. Students knew Severus Snape as a brooding, angry, mean old man and it was a bit sad to see (and hear) the way they would talk and react to your husband.
You talked to him about it once before, suggesting that he just show them who he really is, that he isn’t what they say. But he always shook his head and said it never bothered him in the first place - so why change?
When you first started to get recognized by students, it was odd. You thought you’d be forgotten, or you were such an insignificant person in their lives that it truly wouldn’t matter if you were their new teacher or not. However, that wasn’t the case.
Students, especially 5th years, now 8th years, certainly remembered you for your Charms skill and increasing wins in duels around campus. It made you laugh - you forgot how careless you were. You’d have to ask Severus if that’s what attracted him to you in the first place.
Then, when students would start making comments about how much time you spent with Professor Snape did you realize how quickly your face flushes.
“He just needs a friend, is all,” you’d respond, making students raise an eyebrow.
Colin Creevey, an absolutely adorable little blonde-haired boy, always nodded along with you if your husband was ever brought up in conversation, “nobody deserves to sit alone at meals or have no friends.”
When that happened many times, you remember pulling Colin aside and having a conversation with him and saying how right he was - nobody deserved to have nobody.
Maybe it was a mistake telling poor wee Colin - the kid was known for taking pictures and writing articles about everybody and everything. However, he didn’t know any better. For sure, he thought everyone knew you and Severus were married - why would it be kept a secret?
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
You and Severus were in the library when you first began to hear the ruckus, the rumors, the whispers. Madam Pince had warned students several times about their volume, but the gossip they were hearing and spreading was just too good.
Once the whispers started to form into real words for you to hear, you were not expecting to hear the rumor - well, truth - that you and Professor Snape were married.
Severus’ head picked up at the words while you looked anywhere but him, “oh, we’re married now, huh?”
You turned to your husband, “finding trustworthy kids nowadays is difficult.”
He snickered, “who’d you tell this awful little secret to, little dove?”
You played with a pencil in your hands, “Colin Creevey.”
Severus laughed, making a few students look over and do a double-take - why it was Professor Snape and Professor L/N - the two they were talking about. And Professor L/N just made Snape laugh? Was it true?
You smacked Severus’ arm, “would you shut it? I thought he was adorable - he always stuck up for you whenever others were trash-talking you.”
Your husband pulled you close to him, head resting on his clavicle, “I’m sorry, my love, but Creevey of all people? The little worm carries a camera with him everywhere.”
“And I have one right now, if you don’t mind!”
Severus and you jumped, not seeing Colin come up beside you both. Sitting up straight, you looked at Colin, “Colin, sweetheart, why would you go around telling everyone that Professor Snape and I are married?”
Colin looked confused, “well, I thought by the way you talked about him all the time, you’d want people to know. I think secrets only deserve to be kept quiet if they’re truly horrible things, but this shouldn’t be a secret.”
You looked at your husband who was already looking at you with adoration in his eyes, “do you care?”
Severus wrapped his arm around you, pressing a kiss to your cheek, “all these buffoons already know, anyway. What does it matter?”
Colin brought his camera up to his face, “Professor Snape! Can you do that again, sir? This is the perfect picture.”
You giggled, feeling your husband’s hand sneak around your side and pull you even closer, his lips returning back to your cheek in a matter of seconds. Looking at the camera, a bright smile was on your face as the light flashed, hearing many “aww’s” resonate throughout the library.
Finally, you could go by Mrs/Mr. Snape - and not be afraid to tell anyone about it. I guess one way or another, people were going to find out - you’re just glad it happened like this.

You were smitten the first time you saw Cedric Diggory. He was not only unbelievably handsome but kind, funny, and just an overall wonderful human being. At first, the two of you rarely talked, only having a few classes together. But as years passed, you both became partners in most of your classes and began to realize how much you had in common.
Until you started to realize that not every wizard has been introduced to a muggle. Well, at least you thought you were muggle - you apparently had some sort of magic blood within you, letting you attend Hogwarts.
You were beyond shocked when you received a letter from Hogwarts stating that you were a wizard - weren’t those made up, like that one series of books into movies? What was it called, Harley Porter?
Anyways!
It was extremely difficult being a muggleborn in a school mostly filled with students who had at least one parent that knew of magic. However, one person that stayed consistent through those years with you was Cedric. He was quiet in his first few years, but slowly came out of his shell and showed you how to be a wizard to your full potential. He also proved to be an amazing friend, sticking up for you whenever other wizards would question your ability to even be a wizard with your muggle status. He seemed to know how to handle every situation thrown at him, and that was something you envied about him - but loved him nonetheless.
So to see Cedric very confused over such minuscule items in your house was a wee bit surprising. You thought wizards would know everything about muggles, considering they were like little pet rats and most wizards loved analyzing them. Apparently, that wasn’t the case.
Cedric had decided to come over to your house during Christmas break, saying he missed your mom’s homemade meals and your dad's jokes that made him laugh till he cried - but you knew he just wanted to spend time with you. He had met your parents once before, but that was outside of the muggle environment. So now, coming into your home for the first time, he didn’t know what certain things were and was taken aback by some items.
Entering your house, your tiny laundry room was the first room that the house enclosed, attached to the kitchen. Cedric pointed at your washer and dryer, stacked atop of each other, “what are those things, darling?”
You raised an eyebrow, “a washer and dryer. We use them to wash and dry our clothes.”
Cedric furrowed his eyebrows, “why not use the scouring charm?”
With a laugh, you took Cedric by the arm and led him through the kitchen, “it feels better to sort our clothes and have them go through the process of being cleaned. Although, I sometimes use the charm when I’m feeling lazy.”
Your boyfriend chuckled and nodded along, but stopped once he saw the toaster in your kitchen, “okay, darling, I understand the washer and dryer, but what in Merlin’s beard is that?”
Looking at where Cedric was pointing at, you squeezed his hand, “a toaster, love. We put bread within those little slots and by pushing the level down, the heaters inside toast the bread.”
He looked dumbfounded, “you muggles astound me. You don’t just make lightning bread?”
Now you looked confused, “lightning. . .bread?”
Cedric looked you in the eyes before snorting, “how about that tour?”
Rolling your eyes but silently adoring his little snort, you pulled your boyfriend through the dining room to the upstairs and into your room, before closing the door, setting one of his bags on the floor. Plopping on your bed, you pulled out your phone, deciding to go onto Snapchat and send pictures to a few of your friends.
Your boyfriend walked around your room, glancing at the little trinkets you had. One thing that caught his eye, though, was a picture with you and some of your friends from your hometown. Picking up the photo, he noticed you were mid laugh, along with your friends, but the picture wasn’t moving.
“Sweetheart,” Cedric started, watching as your face lit up from the flash on Snapchat, looking over at him, “how come this photo isn’t moving?”
You smiled, “those are my friends, my muggle friends. Obviously, they can’t be exposedto magic so I can’t take any moving pictures with them.”
You seemed a little hurt at the end, but understood that it’d be dangerous to even expose your muggle friends to a moving picture.
Giving you a tight smile, Cedric jogged over to your bed and laid next to you, resting his head on your chest as you played with the filters on Snapchat, laughing at Cedric’s facial expressions he made.
“That’s your phone, right?” your boyfriend asked, still looking surprised as to how so much light and information could fit onto one screen.
You kissed his head, “yes, love, and actually. . .I just downloaded this new app called ‘TikTok’ and I’ve been scrolling through it - the people on here are absolutely hilarious. I even learned a new dance!”
You pushed yourself up, looking around for your phone charger that seemingly disappeared.
Cedric leaned back, propping himself up on an elbow, “a new dance, you say? Show me those moves, beautiful.”
You blushed, “I didn’t say I was good, Ced.”
Pausing your search, you wrapped yourself up in one of Cedric’s Quidditch sweaters that you definitely took with his permission, tossing your shirt into your hamper, leaving you in shorts and his sweater. Then, you leaned over the edge of your bed once more, trying to see if your charger was caught between the wall.
Cedric smirked, leaning over to grab your ankle, jokingly trying to pull you towards him as you leaned over the bed, trying to reach the charger, “c’mon darling, show me some of those moves you learned on. . .TikTok.” He chuckled to himself, wondering how muggles came up with those names.
You yelped when his hand met your ankle, blushing profusely as his fingers played with your calf, “Cedric Diggory!” With a sigh, you tossed a glance to him as you hopped off the bed, “promise you won’t laugh?”
He looked you over as he supported his head against the many pillows and stuffed animals you had on your bed, ruffling his hair, “no promises. . .go ahead, sweetheart.”
From that night on, Cedric learned the multitude of TikTok dances that took over the world, ranging from the Renegade (he grew frustrated at how quickly Charli picked it up but he couldn’t) to the Chika dance.
All the two of you did was laugh, stumbling over your own two feet as you struggled to learn the dances. However, at the end of the night, Cedric kissed you, telling you that while being TikTok famous would be cool, just being with you was a hundred times better.
