what is up with the bats and seeing things?

is hallucinating a family trait of the bats? I swear everyone does it once or twice. I hc that Dick does the most, but they all kinda do.

I think Bruce also would but he’s really good at telling what’s real and what isn’t. Maybe it’s because of how often they get exposed to fear gas or something.
