As always, social development especially of Arewa and even more especially of the youth is paramount and focal to our program, because it is instrumental to the development of a society as a whole. Furthermore, our aim is to both enlighten the public on who the Arewa woman is, and what she has the ability to metamorphose into if given the adequate resources and opportunities. We also want to take the narrative into our hands and tell our won stories, because who better to tell it? In this teaser, @chefzeelicioussss talks about her passion for the food department as well as her desire to see young Arewa women take the world by the bull and do well for themselves in terms of work and financial stability. She also talks about the belief we have in Arewa (and even by extension, in Nigeria) that if a woman is financially stable, she will not be able to find a man willing to marry her, as she might pose a threat to him. But a man afraid of his wealth being surpassed by someone he claims to love is in itself a problem and so that assumption is very problematic and we will have to do better to tackle it.
