ok i wish that cafe scene was in the game because that is LITERALLY the funniest god damn thing. imagine youre a cashier or waiter or whatever and group of people walk in. ok nothing too bad. but you realize this group is made up of:

-the mafia, along with their boss

-goats????

-a movie director that you heard cheated at the awards and then proceeded to try and murder a child

-a ghost. a literal actual ghost. hold up isnt that the ghost that's rumored to like. kill people?

anyway i like thinking about the time rifts. especially about who they hit and where the storybook comes from.

the mafia one is the only like. clear answer because the mafia man literally tells you its his. and the storybook comes from his memory of arriving to the island.

the dead bird studio one could possibly be one of the express owls, most likely due to where the time rift is. the storybook could be from what theyve heard about why the conductor and dj grooves cant get along.

subcon is the most speculative for me, but im guessing that it mightve been a dweller. and the storybook is from whats been said or rumored by others. but idk. and idk whats up with where the rift is found. why is that area like that

alpine is probably a goats memory, and the storybook is probably a tale thats been passed down about the goat who ascended.

deep sea is most likely the captains memory, and the storybook is his memory of his mentor and of his passing.

tour is most definitely mustache girls. its possible she got in through the attic and she got hit accidentally by one? the rift itself is most definitely her memory, about her journey looking for timepieces, and the storybook is also just her memory too.

rythm jump studio was probably a moon penguins, and the rift might be memories of the club dj grooves ran. the storybook is their memory of how grooves first movie went.

mountain rift is likely a nomad, and the storybook is their memory or a story passed down about how the the nomads live in the alps.

twilight travels is sort of perplexing. the storybook is probably from one of snatchers minions, but that kinda doesnt fit with the actual rift. it could just be a dweller? i mean the dwellers are also on the bells. idk man

and then theres rumbi factory. i have no idea whats going on with rumbi factory. does anyone know whats going with rumbi factory? is the rift a memory of the cat vaccums? are the cat vaccums rumbis? did rumbi leave the spaceship. and get hit. this is the only one where im completely lost.
