okay but can we talk about the fact that a good number of my 5th grade students are into anime and i love it. one girl in my class has drawings of naruto symbols on her pencil bag. i walked up to another kid’s desk yesterday and there was just a picture he drew of kakashi chilling on his desk. on the first day, when i mentioned i liked my hero academia, one kid just walked up to me and started naming characters to see if i’d like them. i love this
