HATCHA! proud beetle knight. he/him, dynastes tityus.
hatcha has bested many a great warrior in honorable combat, and is rightfully proud of his strength and skill. he has a mighty temper and a bit of a pompous attitude, which occasionally get him into scrapes that a lesser beetle would be afraid of.
as current champion of ostaka, he is well respected by the people, if not necessarily well liked. he's not a bad bug, don't get anyone wrong -- but he is definitely not the easiest to get along with.

One of the Numbers in Kaido’s Beast Pirates, Hatcha represents the number “8″. He and the other Numbers are bioengineered giants that are larger than normal giants, being almost as large as Oars (Hatcha for example is only 8 inches shorter than Oars). They were created by Caesar Clown, because as we all know, Big Mom wanted giants in her kingdom any way she could. For reasons unknown, the Numbers are considered “failed giants”. There could be a number of reasons, but one thing’s for sure: the Numbers aren’t very intelligent. Hatcha in particular likes to get drunk and can get very careless when he is. After chasing General Franky across Onigashima, he was easily defeated by Yamato in one swift blow.
