something that no amount of meditation can prepare you for is how paralyzing it is to actually see the Stars. or the things that pretend to be the Stars.

hehe hatchclan watcher world is basically Algaepaw and Woodworm going to the moonstone bc it’s tradition in all clans for apprentices to visit at least once, and they’re arguing the whole route there and stuff bc Woodworm wants her to move to HatchClan to be with him but she doesn’t want to move because ChiveClan is closer to Deb’s twoleg house.
Anywho shenanigans happen and because HatchClan is blocked from visiting the real StarClan, they astral project to dark forest on accident and end up in Blinkstare’s grove, where their strained relationship is tested.
In the end Blinkstare’s like ‘hey you apparently hate your dad and i’m bored so i’m just gonna kill that guy for you’ and Algaepaw kicks up a bunch of grit from the ground and temporarily blinds him before she just goes nuts and starts scratching up as many eyes as she can get her claws on.
They go home and Algaepaw decides to join her father in HatchClan, and she gets her warrior name of Algaetail (named after her ChiveClan mother Eeltail to acknowledge where she came from).

The Girls in the aftermath of The Black Snow. Their little nest in the alleyways of Twolegplace feels impossibly smaller without Greenheart.
The Black Snow has a much more open-end then Black Friday, with all survivors just waiting, resting, trying to console each other.
