For anyone still interested in these, this is an update.

Lineart and values have been done but, no joke, I have NO IDEA where to go from here. Color has broken me. I’ve been stumped for so long, leaving them and coming back.

I’m still extremely proud of where they’re at. I just don’t know how I want to color or render these. (Feel free to make suggestions.) I just wanted to share them with y’all :)

So uhhh the goat bros huh. They haunt my every waking moment.

Putting another version under the cut and also some of my thoughts behind the composition :)

-Steph and Pete face each other because they had the chance to confront their feelings for each other, so they’re on more equal footing

-We don’t see Jenny’s face because we honestly don’t know much about her, and because maybe Ted has started to forget what she looked like

-Jenny is wearing the wedding dress

-This is also the most far fetched reference to that cut dance move in Best of You where Pete was gonna get on one knee for the “absconded, beloved” lyric

-It’s also a vague allusion to yin and yang. Lautski represent the lovers of Hatchetfield, the possibility of a happy ending after some dark moments. Ted shows what happens when you don’t confront your feelings and let them turn you into a bastard (lol)

notice how the hatchetfield character who dies the most times is a misogynist this is because if youre misogynistic you get infected by singing zombies and shot by a bio professor twice and nuked and trapped in the bastard box and turned into a dog and

pokey isn’t as obsessed with paul as tinky is with ted (which i also think we exaggerate), but i don’t think this fandom is ready for that conversation
