Okay, hear me out—
Hatchetown but it’s the Lords in Black singing it and it’s more of them mocking the townspeople about their paranoia.

Just rewatched “hatchet town” and omg the hole song it’s so good why are the adults in Hatchetfield a bunch of dumb asses 😭😭😭😭
I made a new version of Cool as I think I Am.
So I've been thinking through a tribute/ my own au thing for a while for Tim, and one of the things takes the fact that he was babysat by Grace for so long as a time he suffered a lot of religious trauma because her views on Christianity and God are very warped. I had a plan for him to be a Prophet of Wiggly, and in it he's lost one of his legs. I spent about an hour listening to the song and matching up the new version with the old one.
start the song at 1:30 in the track, matches up with "then again I'm deranged" on the album and goes from there, but I'm really really proud of it. @marvelmaniac715 this is part of that Tim prophet fic I had in mind. Gosh I hope people like this I'm really proud of it. Especially how I made the new lyrics fit over "I'm not a loser".
Then again, It’s all strange
(so totally strange)
Wiggly’s got me confused
(so so confused)
She's the righteous and straight
(The righteous and straight)
But can that really be true?
(oh is it true?)
Is she as smart as she thinks she is
(Smart as she thinks is)
Right as she thinks she is
Oh-woah-oh-woah-oh oh
But what if Grace was wrong?
(what if she was wrong)
It's only in her head!
(only in her head)
What if God was not that person but
different from what she said?
Stronger than I think I am
Am I better than she says I am?
Oh-woah-oh-woah-oh oh
If I could ask God
I would beg him to tell me how to recover!
Am I hellbound if I embrace
This new self if I re-
-Ject Her power!!
God can this be who I am?
Cuz I think that it’s who I am.
Oh-woah-oh-woah-oh oh
(After the song ends)
…Can I still believe and have hope?
Oh God I hope so. Because Grace is wrong. What she says doesn’t match my Bible. Please let her be wrong… Oh Lord above, please still accept me into heaven, I need to see Mom again one day. Forgive me for all the things that you think are wrong, not what Grace thinks is wrong.
Happy Final Girl Friday here's Emma Perkins(Hatchetverse)
WHAT WHAT WHAT?!?
I AM THE MAYOR!
Lol just love this quote
“ excuse me, you mind getting the fuck out of my way? ” from max?
A new student at Hatchetfield High has to be a rare thing, Ryder decides somewhere into the second passing period between classes. He has never been stared at this much and this openly before aside from the time that his brother had gotten kicked out of their previous high school in California. It does not help that it is his senior year and who the hell starts a new school for their senior year? Doesn't that fuck up your manuscripts or something like that?
Most people give him a bit of wide berth in the hallway out of sheer surprise. Some of the quieter kids, he has noticed, have been avoiding eye contact completely and rushing off when he gets too close. He chalks it up to them being in a rush and-or weirdly anxious. Ryder has not done anything in the few hours he has been in this school to warrant people actively avoiding him. (Aside from being a new kid who weirdly came in at the beginning of their last year of high school). In fact, the majority of his day has simply been spent trying to figure out the layout of the school and get to his classes in time. Be on his best behavior to start of the school year on the right foot. With the added bonus of knowing that if he behaves himself and has a good day, there will be less reason for his father to be hovering over him.
Ryder doesn't even know who Max Jagerman is. Only hears the name being murmured throughout the crowd of students, actively scattering and thinking out, that move through the halls. The name doesn't mean anything to him in this moment.
The booming voice over his shoulder, though, makes him jump like a startled kitten. He is quick to catch the textbooks and notes he had been shoving into his backpack to keep them from going sprawling across the floor. With the items safely righted again, Ryder's attention snaps up to the presence looming over him like an impatient bull. Then his gaze flickers around at the sparse hallway, more than enough room for people to pass, and back to the other.
"Just go around, dude. It's not like there's no space for you."
@hatchetown : "I get I'm not, like, your best friend. But I'm here if you want me."
his eyes widen slightly, head tilting as he looks duke up and down, tries to work out how serious he is. hes using his serious voice, but that doesn't mean much. duke always uses his serious voice when he thinks teds in trouble - which is most of their interactions, which would be why duke might think hes not teds best friend. of course, teds oblivious to that thought. ted thinks, what with duke knowing everything about him, they're definitely best friends. its not like theres anyone else teds closer to. maybe paul, but he's not sure. head shakes, and for a moment hes been pulled out of the sad spot he'd been stuck in. "uh, you're absolutely one of my best friends, alright?" he almost sounds offended. he almost is. "why wouldn't you be my best friend?" ted can not name many facts about dukes life. he can talk about duke at length, but how much of that is real rather than his idealized version of duke? how well does ted actually know his supposed best friend?
