Okay so another reason I don't like tumblr social justice? It promotes hatred and violence against people who are ignorant, instead of like, trying to actually correct them? If there's one thing I've learned, people don't respond well to causes that use  violent or hateful tactics. People don't listen to the point when they're being yelled at or called names. They're more likely to turn away and reject everything you have to say. Like 99% of people react that way towards yelling and anger. "Oh but it isn't my job to educate these people." is something I hear people on tumblr say a lot. I gotta ask how you're gonna fix anything without educating people? And shit maybe if you're nice people might not agree with you right away. Maybe they never will. Move on. At least you've made your point. But you need to realize most people aren't choosing to be ignorant and what not? So some hipster wears a war bonnet. Chances are, they're probably not thinking about the cultural significance of it or the history of Native Americans. They probably don't realize why you might have a problem with what they're doing. If you yell at them and call them a racist shithead and so such, they're probably gonna write you off as crazy or feel bullied (rightfully so I think, even if you're in the right, it's still kind of bullying to harass people the way I see social justice bloggers do so) If you calmly explain to them why you have a problem with it, chances are that'll stick with them, even if they don't agree with you about your views on cultural appropriation. If they don't agree with you, bashing their head in with your argument will doubtfully change your mind. Like wow that is just how people work. And seriously I don't care if someone ignorantly says something racist I don't think punching them is really the answer there holy fucking shit it'll just leave them confused and hateful in return. Like remember that hatred breeds more hatred?

When people hate, dont react to them. Dont even spare them one tear. Dont take their hate to heart. I know it seems quite difficult, and it is. But when you posses he power to ignore the haters and not to care, you'll come out stronger. Dont make a big deal out of hate, 'cause thats when they win
