im not shipping an adult with a child. jiang has no specified age, i headcanon that she was around jet’s age bc of similarities in temperament and design, as well as the fact that they occupy similar narrative roles (leader of a whole rebellion vs pirate captain, both with trauma in their pasts, but while jet’s poisoned him to the point where he couldn’t get past hurting the enemy to help his people, jiang was the opposite--helping her people was more important than anything else), but if other ppl headcanon differently, they’re more than welcome to
