where did he go?
he was just here -- standing in this keep, laughing & taunting the hero, surrounded by hordes of undead allies. it felt, without issue, that each & every time he got close to him, the commander ( what was his name again? ghirahim? ) would up & disappear, leaving behind only echos of his laughter. even when they fought, it’d end the same, without giving link time to land a hitting blow.
so this time, where did he go? the battlefield was theirs -- aside from a few posts & groups of monsters still running amock, those easily squashed -- yet an uncomfortable feeling of dread scratches & bangs at his mind, unwilling to let his guard down for a even a moment. SOMETHING was wrong. paranoia wracks his mind & body, forcing his tired body to continue its search.
if he doesn’t find the enemy commander, something will happen -- he can feel it. he can feel it.

❝ wait! do not be so hasty. ❞ - from ganondorf.
The Legend of Zelda sentence starters
Hope was almost to the path, boots pounding across grass and leaves as she sprinted the last few yards. Travelling along the path would be easier than winding her way through the trees. As much as she liked the woods, she did not want to be caught in them when the sun set, when monsters like Stalfos would be lurking about. Pushing her way through the bushes lining the edge of the well trod dirt path, she almost collided with with a group walking along it.
Everything was a blur as weapons were suddenly drawn against her. Light glinted off of sharpened blades, and one individual was already rushing at her. Wide eyes began to glow, giving off a bright golden light which was easily visible as it illuminated the eyes of the aspen mask that she wore, and in the same moment she brought her hands up in the beginnings of a spell.
"Wait! Do not be so hasty."
The blade stopped mere inches from her raised arms, soon lowered as her would-be attacker backed off a step. Thank goodness. Hope breathed a sigh of relief and let her arms fall back to her sides, the glow of her eyes fading as magic died down. With a deep breath to calm herself, she turned her attention up to the man that had spoken.
"Thank you, sir-" Perhaps unnecessary, but he had just stopped the young mage from being maimed or killed.

It was at her insistence that the QUEEN be the one to greet her guest, the fabled Gerudo Ambassador. A meeting of diplomatic purposes set to take place the next day, she wished to personally assure that the visitor was settled & rested a day that would be interesting for both of them.
Calista waited near to the North Gate, just beyond the boundary. The fabric of her embroidered robes caught within a gentle breeze, swaying lightly. She’d forced the royal guards away, deemed unnecessary for the time being & yet she knew they lingered just out of hearing range, as much distance as they would allot.
It was footfalls that drew her attention, gaze falling upon the Gerudo. Calista Hyrule stood tall, proud, REGAL, as she greeted her guest--- “ Welcome to Castle Town. ”
[ ⤏ send me “plots please” … and I’ll respond with 3 (or more) interesting plots / relationships / connections I can think of for our muses! ]
@hatebred: plots please with veran and demise, or the king of hyrule and ganondorf perhaps? maybe linebeck and ganondorf? whichever strikes your fancy the most, you def don't have to answer all of these gsfdgs
u fool i will do all of the above bc i love each one
[Veran] Does Demise know how to have fun? Because Veran’s favorite pastime is causing misery and pain. She’d gladly share with with such an esteemed god the art of crushing spirits into pure agony. It’s a business venture to promote her brand of sorrow.
As jovial as that sounds it’s got that ‘dark humor’ side of being the sole cause of someone else’s angsty backstory. Like Pipit’s. Villain’s gonna be a villain, y’know?
[King Hyrule] Daphnes and Ganondorf have a history together and I kinda want to explore what that was since it’s pretty vague? In a time when Daphnes was still alive and Hyrule wasn’t sunk under water, maybe. Both of them are kind of limited by something: Ganondorf’s full power is still locked by the Master Sword, and, King Daphnes knows even with that he can’t take this guy on and live. But he has the Wind Waker!! And I do have hc that might make Ganondorf even more bitter: Daphnes (either with or without instruction from the goddesses) sunk Hyrule with it to keep it out of Ganondorf’s clutches. If he can’t be king of Hyrule, no one can.
[Linebeck] -- would be a hilarious one with Ganondorf. He used to be a pirate with Jolene back in the day and I can see him being an idiot enough trying to steal from the Forsaken Fortress, being caught, and being brought to the big man himself. And commence bargaining/groveling for his stupid life because WOW he’s scary. He’ll promise to do anything for Gan, but we all know he’ll never make good on it lmao.

🍃🏹➳ The shady Woodfall Forest was vastly different from the Gerudo Desert. Shady, green, lush, and several places to hide for the various sorts of life, ranging from small rabbits to great elks. Compare to the desert, which bore a scorching bright sun, whites and yellows and browns of the sand, and vast, open spaces, whose wildlife rarely appeared during the day.
The half-deku’s hut was not far from the borders of the small palace, where most of the inhabitant Deku-Scrubs called home. It was just outside the gate where she came upon the scene; a band of Gerudo, tall and strong, conversing with the guards at the gate. It was peculiar to see any outsiders aside from the occasional stray Korok in the area, let alone near the palace; usually, it were the caravans of Business Scrubs that came and went to sell their wares in other far-off lands of Hyrule.
But, these people did not appear to be buying or selling, they seemed more like they were arguing. Among the group of Gerudo, most of whom female, was a stark, stoic, and intimidating male, standing back with his arms folded over his chest in observance.
The curious Huntress, carrying a dead Wolfos over her shoulder, quietly approached, but not in an obvious fashion, just enough to wander by and linger around the scene in order to eavesdrop. Although, despite how various the Deku Scrub race was, very few of them could match up to her height, or her soft, Hylian features. She probably stuck out a tad amid the gathering group of onlookers, despite her best efforts.
