THE HAUNTED RIVERVIEW MANSION - Metropolis, Illinois. Near the banks of the Ohio River, the historic Riverview Mansion stands as it has since 1889. It was a local hospital for several decades - in operation these days as a couple-run B&B. This place is said to be haunted as well as historic. A ghost named “Bob” allegedly manifests here. Moving items and unaccounted for sounds have been alleged. They have old recordings and a Victor Victrola player from over a century ago which adds to the creepy atmosphere.
