Stanley, yes!
They totally keep the Lockbody Mantis. Stan names it Lokey (Stan: "Get it? Loki — LoKEY? 'Cause it has key arms?") and it causes them almost as much trouble as it saves them from.

Soap being afraid of dogs because of a childhood incident. An aggressive stray attacked him but his father quickly got it off him. This, of course, traumatized him and he's had issues with dogs since.
Years later, he admits this to Ghost, who rather nonchalantly, recounted the three different times he was attacked by a dog, the third time being a true mauling and he had almost lost his hand to it.
"You... you love dogs."
"Yes, because one bad dog isn't going to erase all the good ones."
Soap, admittedly, did not expect this. And it made him rethink his approach on dogs entirely, though he wasn't close to adopting one.
"You're scared of snakes," he recounted.
Ghost nodded, "Yes and no. More of I'm scared of the bad memories attached to them."
"Doesn't getting mauled by a dog not leave bad memories?"
"Those dogs acted on their own. The snakes did not."
Soap wanted to ask but he felt a part of him telling him to leave it be. He knew what Ghost was talking about, he didn't need to bring it up.
"Kyle is scared of clowns."
Soap snorted at the unexpected statement.
"Don't tell him I told you," Ghost chuckled.
"What's Capt'n scared of?"
Ghost thought for a moment before he nodded to himself, "A shave."
Soap laughed again, a bit louder this time.

Manta killing a baby was pretty cruel. Doing it in front of the baby's father was crueler. But Manta did something that Arthur doesn't know; that wasn't Arthur's kid.
So not only does Arthur think that his kid is dead, but by the time he realizes it he'll have missed the kid's entire childhood. He gave Arthur Jr. to a couple with instructions to raise him to be the kind of person Arthur Sr. would be eternally disappointed in.
Then he killed a baby, one that wasn't Aquaman's.
The couple moved to Amity Park and renamed his actual son Dash Baxter.
The couple was not expecting their landlocked city to become home to ghosts, or for Dash to idolize the local hero and try to clean up his act.
Dash, for his part, thought that randomly getting freakishly strong was just a Liminal thing. And talking to goldfish. Also being able to breathe underwater.
Everyone in Amity Park was a little weird, Dash was just weirder than most.
