Backhalf of season five is driving me crazy with people blaming Duke and being shitty to him.

The whole reason he left Haven was to protect people. Because he didn't want to give anybody else troubles and he didn't know how to help. He comes back because he figures out that he can actually do something, and then everybody is super mean to him!! The woman who he troubled I get that, that makes sense. But Hailey? Incredibly bold of her to say that Duke is responsible for her death when she found him. She asked him for money which he was willing to give her. She badgered him about her mom's trouble even though he told her that it was dangerous and it would be a bad idea. Then because she was literally going to die otherwise he helped her trigger her trouble and tried to teach her how to be safe with it. And he brought her to Haven full of people who could teach her how to be safe and have a normal life. And then this girl runs away?? Because she wants to be special?? And then in running away get stuck in a gate because she doesn't believe anybody about her trouble being a problem. And then Duke finds her and wants to save her and can't because she will die. And she has the absolute audacity to tell him to go to hell and that it's his fault? What the fuck.
