CONTEXT AU FOR MY HEADCANONS/WRITING:

I often write headcanons which more or less for the same content AU, so Imma list them here for ease of ref (unless stated differently on my posts):

Key:

FC : Found Child (24 y/o, female, Pakistani, Muslim, has vast elemental powers)

CONTEXT:

♡ Everybody lives.

♡ Captain Carol Danvers & Colonel James Rhodes were the leaders of New Avengers. They're also dating/married.

♡ They're the field captains, Dr Tony Stark is head of R&D Dept, Dr Stephen Strange is the Head of the Medical & Magical Dept.

♡ Endgame happened for like 2 years (2018-2020), bc Tony wanted his family back sooner and didn't need to be cornered to bring Dr Dad and spiderson back.

♡ In 2020, May was exposed to COVID and died as a result of that. Peter went to live with his pseudo-father, Tony Stark who adopted him, legally. Dr Strange is his 2nd emergency contact.

♡ Tony and Pepper divorced after Endgame, as they were better off as friends and she finally realised that he was not able to just STOP being Iron Man, even for her, as it was a part of him that she couldn't accept and it wasn't fair for him to have to pretend it away (the part I despise the most about canon Pepperony). They co-parent Morgana, live separately.

♡ Steve Rogers, Wanda Maximoff & Natasha Romanova are officially recognised as terrorists and kept confined in The Compound to serve their sentence due to their past crimes that were severely overlooked in canon (Helicarriers, Sokovia, Nigeria, Germany, Siberia - all of CA:CW - Johannesburg , etc.). They were put in The Compound cause Ross got crucified for The Raft and Tony's New Avengers (after the fall of SHIELD, he bought the rights to the Avengers Initiative from Fury so The Avengers are legally his) are the only ones powerful enough to physically stop the trio from doing more stupid

♡ They were invited to help with Grape Face after which Wanda fucked off, did over Westview, and ran away from responsibility, as she does, once Stephen came along and alongside Agatha, he tried to shut her down. He succeeded and healed the minds of all those willing to let him, in the town, but in doing so, she got away

♡ She's the only X-Venger one who got away from responsibility until MoM, wherein Wong and Strange were not nerfed down to make UwU bby g Wanda 🥹 look overpowered. Stephen was a Sorcerer Supreme for crying or loud, with an innate magical predisposition, and Wrong is also a pretty damned powerful sorcerer, mind you, so canon does not exist here. She was captured and sedated and dragged back to Compound, where she was forced to wear power suppressing cuffs, like Steve and Natasha and mandatory therapy and regular psych evals.

♡ MoM ended with the Book of Vishanti, but they still have the nightmares, etc, mainly America.

I understand I am very late on this train, only now watching Hawkeye 2021 series (the one with Kate) and I can't for the life of me understand why #hawkdad isn't a thing?

I mean... That guy is dad-coded to an insane level, there's a show out there featuring him, his bio kids and a new random kid he pulls under his wing of sorts (pun intended)...

Where's the #hawkdad fics? Am I just too late in watching this and they're not trending anymore? If anyone has any good hawkeye mentoring/taking in Kate (or other young person) fic please share them with me!

If not, people who might see what I'm seeing let's make them happen. And yeah... #hawkdad . I'll die on this hill.

The MCU finally found a way to make their version of Clint Barton work. All they had to do was make him Batdad. Because that’s what I’m getting from this show, Clint is the best Marvel dad.

Clint in Hawkeye: That's enough, Kate, we are through, go home, you should have never been involved in this in the first place, it's too dangerous for you! I mean you are twenty-two, you are basically still a child!
