I can't stop thinking about these two. Criston doesn't care about his own safety - he just wants to see his dear boy.

Throughout all of s3, Criston shows apathy towards everything, but when it comes to Aemond, that's what wakes up what little life is left in him.

thoughts on roxmund omegaverse au~

I just LOVE the idea of Ormund being maniacally obsessed with having Roxton all to himself (when it's already true anyway, but it's kind of like a Candace and Jeremy story, except the former is more fucked in the head and the latter is less emotionally expressive).

Ormund would be a stereotypical alpha with the most conservative mindset that omegas are made for alphas, same-sex couples are unnatural, and betas shouldn't show themselves around either of the above. But HOLY SHIT, for Roxton's sake he is fucking ready to grow a uterus through sheer willpower, carry a child, and give birth just to tie his intimate friend to himself. COMPLETELY. FOREVER. Who cares that it's impossible for an alpha - ORMUND WILL MAKE IT POSSIBLE.

Someone: What about your "same-sex couples are a spit in the face of Mother Nature"? Aren't two alphas unnatural?" Ormund, in a preachy tone: That is because others are driven by rage, lust, and the desire to be different. Jon and I are supreme evolutionary creations - our union is God's gift to a sinful earth. i think about Criston!book, who was a damn springboard for his king. he provided a lot for his ascension, prepared the ground for this: convinced him to become king, supported a coup d'etat and killed a traitor, placed a crown on Aegon's head, conquered castles, planned a trap to eliminate a large enemy dragon, and, last but not least, saved Sunfyre's life (left his men to take care of him), - and Aegon was able to play his cards right and win the race for the throne.

Criston presented Aegon's rashness and impulsiveness as Gods' blessing and protection (in fact, he was not mistaken because Aegon really took the hit when his army was burning), which inspired the soldiers to return to battle with renewed vigor. and although he doesn't say the second line, he either approved of it, or, most likely, he invented it himself, and therefore there is no mention of the prince in it (we know why).

if hotd had not been biased, the second one might have caused good excitement too, because a week ago this dragon broke through the floor and crushed hundreds or even thousands of people, but this is a show, where the execution of rat catchers is given more attention than the murder of a child whose head was sawed off in his cradle.

on the whole, I just like that no matter what mess is going on, Criston is still trying to take advantage of the situations for his king, even if they're really totally f@ck%d.
