thinking about you and hawkeye pierce in the supply closet, him being his normal sarcastic self. you brush him off as always, until you notice how he's jiggling his stethoscope. trying to ignore the impulsive thoughts that come to your brain, you refocus on stocking the shelves... until he comes right up behind you, still playing with his aparatus.
"you look like you're getting ready for a check up," you scoff.
"oh, you wanna play doctor," hawkeye smirks, and you (unfortunately) don't even roll your eyes.
ignoring the flash of nerves down your spine, you shoot back, "it has been a while since my last check up." his eyes brighten and sparkle.
"where do you want to start?" he takes a step closer, scanning your face (and a little lower). your heart beats faster and something awakens lower down your body.
emboldened by the way he drinks you in, you feel invigorated with a new sense of playfulness, and... something... else...
"well," you turn slightly to the side, biting your lip, "doctor," his lips flash from your lips to your eyes. "i have been feeling a little tender..." your hand comes to your side, running from your hip to your behind.
"ohh, i see," hawkeye takes the stethoscope off from around his neck, holding it in one hand, the other slyly slipping around your waist, "we'd better check it out pretty thoroughly, huh?"
"mmm," you hum, pulling ever so gently on the medical device. "please, doctor, i think i need a thorough examination..."
and so that's how you and hawkeye got to using a stethoscope in an... incredibly unconventional way... 🩹

If I had a nickel for every time I watched a show with a skinny brunette male surgeon watching a baby die that they thought they could have saved and having a major meltdown about it I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it is weird that it happened twice.

I’m writing again!! Another chapter of Aftermath is finally on the way after a super long hiatus (which I apologize for profusely). Check out this awesome banner as well. Thanks @captaincaptaincupcakethings!
Here are a couple of my shots of legendary Alan Alda at the Netflix's "Marriage Story" Los Angeles Premiere held at DGA Theatre. The latter is Alan with Jake Alda and Arlene Alda. It was a joy and surprise to see Alan that night for Marriage Story. He doesn’t make many appearances. I watch M*A*S*H as a teenager and young adult. It was beyond huge in those days. Hawkeye was a vivid and powerful character to play and his character resonated with the whole country. Today is Alan’s birthday. Alan is turning 85. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Alan! @thealanalda #alanalda #hawkeyepierce #hawkeye #mash #sitcom #situationcomedy #tvstar #comedy #comedicactor #westwing #birthday #happybirthday #hollywoodbirthday #celebritybirthdays #celebrityphotography #losangeles #photography #photographer #losangelesphotographer #loveletterttolou ##losangelesphotography #photographerslife https://www.instagram.com/p/CKmd4wSJP-a/?igshid=1a8p9xayu7jpm
