Haven’t even heard of this movie

Naruto is a shonen manga written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, released between 1999 and 2014. The anime adaptation of the same name was directed by Hayato Date and produced by Pierrot between 2002 and 2007.
It focuses on titular character Naruto as he goes from being an outcast to a full-fledged member of his home. His ultimate goal is to prove his strength and be named the next leader of the Leaf Village.
Despite Naruto being a show about ninja, it actually takes place in a world that is some weird hybrid of the sengoku and modern eras. This means, of course, that there is no reason for the show to not include airplanes. And yet, it does not. The characters are constantly going from one place to the next, but the creators did not even have the decency of giving them a car or train, let alone a plane to fly in. No, unless they’re taking a boat to some island, they walk everywhere. Maybe their walks help facilitate the mountains of filler the viewer has to slog through, with entire episodes devoted to them walking and maybe getting ambushed. Just fly over everything, my dudes, it’s safer. And if it’s not safer, then we get cool ninja fights on an airplane, so win-win either way, really.
Naruto gets zero planes out of five because it did not consider how cool fights on airplanes could be.
