Fast forward to winter in Oasis Springs

Time past and Maize got to know her neighbors better. Some came to play friendly chess duels and some lost. Hayden was the one who kept coming back for more defeats to Maize's amusement.

Hayden was, let’s say, "undermined", when he learned that Maize wasn’t interested in men. But they formed a great friendship once all misunderstandings were past them. Since they both had similar taste in women they even started a friendly competition… 🤦‍♀️

Maize dated a bit and soon enough got a girlfriend. Her name was Sarah. She was one to keep Maize entertained that’s for certain! She lived with her twin brother in Willow Creek and she always had trouble making the difference between her life and her brother’s. She was "protecting" him…

Eventually Sarah's extroverted and childish personality couldn’t keep up with Maize's insecurities… Sarah couldn’t bear having to reassure Maize every two seconds they didn’t spend together and they ended up both calling it off. Kind of ironic if you think about her relationship with her brother not gonna lie…
