who cooks normally?: Neal. He's not exactly a stellar chef, but he can scrounge up something halfway decent, even if sometimes he burns dinner and they end up with pancakes instead-- pancakes are a Neal Cassidy speciality. Emma's not awful at it, but it's so much easier to whine until Neal cooks something.how often do they fight?: They bicker a lot, but it's usually way more banter than malicious. With their history, and the pain in it, they both agreed early on that the only way for this to work was for both of them to be honest about everything, so they tend toward working through things rather than big blow out fights, but it IS second nature for both of them to bottle up pain, so they rarely but occasionally have a full on fight.what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Emma sheriffs and Neal alternates between his dad's shop and helping Belle out at the library when he needs space from his dad (they're doing better, but they're still working things out). Emma's got her relationship with her parents and magic lessons with regina and a friendship with Ruby and Belle, and Neal's got his dad and Belle and Robin and Tink and Mulan. THey both try to spend time with Henry individually. When they were younger, they were each other's entire world, and their relationship is and has to be differnet now-- they've got their own lives, but at night? It's them alone with the tv turned down low and lazy kisses in bed. nicknames for each other?: Neal calls her Em and baby and princess, if he wants to get on her nerves. Emma retaliates by calling him Baelfire-- he's okay with the name, and plenty of Storybrooke calls him Bae now, but it's always weird coming from Emma.who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They take turns. But not without Neal suggesting they dine and ditch for old times sake. (he gets a kick under the table, but it's half-hearted.)who steals the covers at night?: They play tug of war with the covers, honestly. what would they get each other for gifts?: They don't really do big holiday/birthday gifts for each other, because neither of them are really used to it, after so long along and having so little when they were together, but they do go sort of mutually insane about getting things for Henry. But they get each other little every day things: Emma picking up a sandwich-with-no-mayo and bringing it to the shop, Neal finding dumb little trinkets in the shop and sneaking them out for her-- little 'i'm thinking of you' things. It was all they could do when they were younger, and it's still their thing.who remembers things?: .....Henry, tbh. who cusses more?: Emma more often and more casually, Neal more inventively.  what would they do if the other one was hurt?: If one of them was hurt seriously, there's panic. A lot of panic. Neal's quicker to go into action mode from centuries of waiting for the next bad thing to happen, but he's more prone to doing rash things in emergency situations. Emma's more panicked while hurt!Neal is the one calming her down, tbh, but once she gets to a calm point, she's pretty rational about figuring out how to deal with the situation. who kissed who first?:  When they were younger? Neal kissed Emma, but she reciprocated quickly. Later? Emma kisses Neal-- he's open and honest about how he feels about her, but he figures what they do when needs to be her call, after their history. who made the first move?: Neither of them remembers who really started it when they were younger-- there was a lot of flirting they escalated pretty quickly, and it just kind of happened. Later--Neal makes it clear how he feels, but it's ultimately Emma's call if anything can actually happen. 

who started the relationship?: It's pretty much dictated by when Emma's ready, but Neal's very big on...if we're going to do this again, we need to actually talk about what this is, and Emma agrees pretty quickly, because whatever they do affects Henry and they want to be able to come to him with like 'yes, we're together.' When they were younger, it was easy to get caught up in the spontaneity and feelings and that was great, but this--this is settling down and deciding together and it feels real and solid which is just nice to finally have.
