Also, nothing to do with it, I was watching this scene and I hope that Abel's behavior is a last ditch effort to stop Lute. Or at least that's how I see it. I feel that Lute is so attached to Aden's authority that she would never have stopped. Abel had no choice but to assert his authority as his father did, which would affect Lute's psyche. But… I think I'm imagining things haha😭
