yuichi in general is pretty vanilla and not necessarily the most adventurous but he is the type to try most things his partner suggests (and as long as it's not too extreme) 🤔 and some of those things he might find that he likes lol

3. what are some features of others that attract them from the outset?

shoulders! they don't have to be big or broad, or slim or sharp, or any specific kind of way, and i don't think it's something he necessarily consciously appreciates either. but maybe in his mind somehow he thinks of them as strong and safe ?? does that make any sense lol

also height. it doesn't take much, but being taller than him at all is already a point in the attraction column lol

15. what is something they consider a kink of their own?

certainly praise. in general praise and compliments are great but no matter what he's doing (or what's being done to him), he really likes to know he's doing a good job and making his partner happy.

also (as seen in one thread) he enjoys sight deprivation? so blindfolds, or being in the dark, both maybe heightens some sensations and makes him feel a little freer (especially at first with a partner)

AU where yuichi is a vampire (which. good explanation as to why he never goes out during the day at least) but he's too shy to ever get close enough (literally or emotionally) to bite anyone so he has to buy blood packs from someone in a spooky dark alley

oh, no, it's true. yuichi absolutely needs to get out and touch grass. he can't even pretend to be insulted cause it's too, too true.

he's a homebody. a roombody, even, if that's a thing. he loves hanging out with and checking on his toudans of course but he gets too comfortable or too anxious or too focused in his room/office that if it weren't for those who make the effort to bring him out he could probably go days without leaving it LOL

usually he doesn't protest (most one would usually hear is "soon, give me X more minutes" or "let me finish this first")

but i imagine there are times when he just staunchly refuses to leave the room, doesn't want to face anyone. maybe stays in bed or under his desk or something lol, holes up entirely under a blanket or something and then depending on the circumstances maybe needs to be coaxed out into getting out and taking care of himself or dragged out, or sometimes perhaps the better approach is for one to sit there with him instead so he at least isn't alone lol jsdfksdflk

he does often keep his door open, including one to the outside because sometimes he does like to watch the rain & flowers, and see any toudans that happen to pass by

if he's not in his room, and you need to find yuichi try this procedure:

check the bathroom

check the kitchen/dining hall

check the gazebo

check engawas

ask around, see if he's in a toudan's room, taking a walk, or something less common

check his room again, he may be hidden (intentionally or not)

if you still can't find him, then... gotta search the whole honmaru then lol

just thinking abt yuichi and his fuzzy sweaters 😭

for someone who doesn't like shopping and doesn't tend to buy clothes for himself all that much anyway... he sure has a lot of them lol. i think it's just something he's weak for LOL like he'll see one and be like "oh...... i don't need it..........but....." And he just feels how soft it is and he can't resist lol

most of them are dark blue/black/purple long-sleeved turtlenecks just cause he feels most comfortable in lowkey stuff but he also has some brighter/lighter colors, also some other cuts like tank tops/off-shoulder/crop tops, also some cardigans and maybe even some hats/arm warmers too. he doesn't wear them much, he just kinda buys them and then thinks about wearing them and how cute they'd be , and then he doesn't lol

Also just thinking about how anyone cuddling with him while he wears them maybe feel like they're cuddling a stuffed animal or something jfjdjfjd which... He likes hehe

Needless to say he much prefers cooler weather cause... Fuzzy sweaters when it's hot (esp as humid as his honmaru gets)... probably miserable lol

🌞🌜 - Is your character an early bird or night owl? What makes them that way?

I think Taikyuu tends to stay up later when he can, but I also actually kind of imagine him waking up early. Like... Idk, he's surprisingly(?) disciplined I guess. Or maybe he just doesn't sleep as much. He's got a lot of energy lol so... I imagine he sleeps from like midnight-1am to sunrise? 6-something? Unclear if that's good for him or not but he seems fine right ?? idk

🍰 - What is their favorite type of dessert or sweet?

Hmmm.. well I know Yuichi definitely likes coffee, especially cold/iced/blended stuff, so probably something like that, maybe with caramel or something similar.

He also likes chocolate! Back when he was trying to get through college sometimes he would get a big chocolate bar (the kind that break off into little squares) and eat one after he did part of his homework to keep him going lol.

(this man needs to get his hands on some chocolate covered espresso beans I think they would change his life)

Rewatching WWDITS again so here's some little things I'm thinking of re: vampire yuichi

(none of this is necessarily like 100% for sure but might make appearances or something idk)

he has troubles with touchscreens-- he's not sure if it's because he lacks body heat or if it's some other just... oddity, but they don't always register his touches? (I hadn't even thought of this when we were writing that thread with Ookurikara jfjsndn he was just Going Thru It but omg)

Climbing vamps? 👀 though I feel like yuichi wouldn't even realize he could do that for a long time lol

I like to imagine usually his eyes are a very dark red but the longer he goes without feeding the brighter red they get? And while he's feeding maybe they glow a lil

He likes to sleep in bed with Saseki, and Nagasone when he's there when he's able, but naturally he tends to get more of his sleep in during the day when they're away so he still sleeps in his closet. He's got a comfy futon and pillow and blanket in there. He probably barely moves at all when he sleeps which honestly isn't that different from human yuichi LOL he sleeps heavy

Someone in a nearby apartment cooks something with extreme garlic and yuichi spends all evening feeling sick in bed/closet lol

He hisses when he's annoyed or angry. Which isn't often, but.

Actually I think a lot of the powers he might have, whatever they might be, he wouldn't realize he has them until it comes out in a moment of fear/anger/stress/excitement 🤔 he's not the type to think "oh I heard/learned vampires have x power" and then try it out lol

(once he figures it out) he is generally a careful ... feeder, much like when he was a human, and tries to prevent any mess (and also not waste blood!) though if he's hungry enough maybe he gets a little messy 💀

He likes to watch people cook and eat food cause he misses it sometimes lol. He'll be in the kitchen with Saseki watching him cook, and sit with him at dinner. Always ask Ookurikara what he's got for lunch and to let him see. To Nagasone "*sniff sniff* you went out for... *sniff* shabu-shabu with... *sniff* mutsu and kane?"

i was just starting the dishwasher and i noticed a button that says "sani rinse". obviously this means like... "sanitizing rinse" or something but.... obviously my brain went "saniwa rinse"

so now this is just what i'm going to call any time a toudan drags yuichi out of his room and out from under the engawa and just makes him stand in the rain for a bit to snap him out of whatever the hell he's got going on and just wake him up and remember that he is in fact a living person LOL

"aruji's been in his room a long time..."

"i haven't seen him since the day before yesterday!"

"he wouldn't come out to eat, and when [kinji] brought his plate out it looked like he'd barely touched it."

....

*the attendant for that day comes out from the office a bit later* it's bad, you guys... i think it's time for the Sani Rinse(TM).
