Our girls rang in the New Year (after a QUIET and PRIVATE Christmas at home) while on the HCLI Young Ladies’ Winter Retreat!! This year’s location was a REMOTE cabin in Mt. Komorebi. They sledded, hiked, and fellowshipped, all while APPRECIATING the beauty of the Lord’s creation! As is tradition, they prayed that THIS is the year Simerica turns back to Christ. We ALL remain His FAITHFUL servants until the blessed day arrives!!

Imogen was able to share a room in the cabin with Delia, and from what they told me, they had SO MUCH FUN!! I’m so GLAD!! According to Ally, who shared the room next to them with her friend Lizetta, they stayed up very late every night, giggling and chatting- no doubt about Peter! 😂

It’s such a blessing to see my daughters grow up surrounded by a Godly Christian community. These milestones- budding romance, being newlyweds, first-time MOTHERHOOD (!!)- only happen ONCE, and I can’t imagine a better way for them to happen! Sadly, I was saved when I was 19, meaning I missed out on a proper Christian upbringing. To see my daughters get to have what I didn’t makes this Mama’s heart SING!
