@hclliday
“ -— i don’t know what to tell you. but you try drag me over county lines and i won’t burn. i ain’t no revenant, no demon. ” he’s been through this conversation with robert already, and it’s not like wyatt is tired of the repetition, seeing as it’s reasonable; only he has a particular lack of answers that frustrates him in himself. his hands plant on his hips. wyatt stills, just for a moment. good god, this is a face that’s been missin’ from wyatt’s life for so long. by the time he died, he’d nearly forgotten exactly how doc looked. “ ... what happened to you, henry? i looked for you. ”

“ Dude, not to knock on you if you’re not in costume, b u t --- are you going to the HALLOWEEN PARADE in a few days? Because you’d deadass make a killer Val Kilmer. ”

❛ it’s really not that bad –––– you’re just like any of us, now. ❜ there’s a pause, in which she considers all the ways in which doc isn’t one of them; he’s a legendary gunslinger, for one –––– ❛ ... uh–– apart from the fact that you’re a damn good shot who happens to be old as balls. ❜
@hclliday @ironic-discordia Ha I've been doing TB research too. I'm worried about the baby too. It'll be much more susceptible to TB. Ooooo what kind of heroic sacrifice are we thinking? I like this

when they show him in the well in the show, there looks like a little alcove hidey hole thingy? I always imagined there must be something to hide himself within or under tbh.
// That would make sense, and I’m 100% willing to accept “Doc was hiding in some hidey hole we didn’t see clearly”. I play DnD, I know that all wells have hidden passageways hidden in them :P
I’m just ????? over the idea of Wynonna climbing down there to get the gun and somehow not noticing Doc. Like, Wynonna can be a little short-sighted when she wants to be but ignoring a whole dude chilling at the bottom of a well is beyond her ability to ignore.

He knew that what he had asked Holliday to do had been hard, and he had no doubts that he had done as asked and kept it from Wynonna - not that that had helped anything - and he knew that despite everything, there was still something there, some kind of unspoken tension between them. Dolls’ isolation, deterioration, and dramatic return to Purgatory on the brink of death had taken its toll on him. He’d lost everything, and clawed back what he could, but with Black Badge gone, and the time it was taking for him to return to normality, he knew he’d been acting differently. “Can I talk to you?” He murmured, his hand resting on Doc’s arm as he passed him. His dark eyes focused on the cowboy’s features, on the lines around his eyes and the constant quirk to his lips under his moustache, and for a moment, he half hoped the other man would say no, that this conversation could be put off for another day, “Privately?”
