Hey guys. I’d been waited for so long to tell you since Kingdom Hearts stuff recently….I got myself a full version for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2+5 Remix for my Xbox One console! 😁👍 Yeah, I know….this is something I’d brought up years ago after I’d bought it from the Xbox store; by luck when living in the previous state of course. Though at the same time, I went ahead myself to actually almost finished the game with Sora and his friends at Hollow Bastion. At least I got these screenshots to get through the dark Riki boss fight before saving Kairi. It was tough regardless, but not giving up an itch. I hope there's more postings to do, but also other ones like Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 2 I'd went as well. Appreciate my effort so far as I can, but sure wish I had time to get the other KH related games before moved to the DR. 🙄

What is a Remix Challenge?
Remixing is taking someone else's words or art and seeing it from another angle. In a way, it is like fanfiction but written with another fanfic as "canon". A remix takes the essentials of a story or artwork and examines them from a different perspective. It uses the basic elements of an existing story or artwork and combines them in a new way to offer a different take on the plot, the characters, the situation and so on.
I am a writer. How do I remix?
If you're remixing a story, that might be achieved by altering the POV - instead of Harry's voice, we hear Draco's. Or Draco's house-elf. Or Lucius, aghast as he watches a romance unfolding between Harry and Draco. It might be the story retold from the POV of Draco's bed, or Harry's favourite armchair. The possibilities are as boundless as your imagination! Or you could alter the style; or genre; switch their occupations or rearrange the order of events, add flashbacks or deleted scenes or future scenes. If you choose a multi-chapter or very large work to remix, you can choose a chapter or scene to focus on.
If you're remixing a piece of artwork, you could tell a different backstory from the one the artist had in mind. You could explore a possible future for the characters after the scene/event/moment depicted in the artwork. You can be as creative as you want!
I am an artist. How do I remix?
If you're remixing a story you could depict a missing scene, or one that precedes or follows the story. You could depict the emotions or thoughts of a character which are not explored explicitly in the text. You could create something that envisages the story from a different perspective.
If you're remixing a piece of artwork, you could use a different medium to create a different mood, or to highlight a different emotion from the original. You could illustrate a scene from their backstory or future. You can be as creative as you want!
Additionally, we respect your right to control ownership over your art and encourage you to include your watermark on your finished fest piece. While we expect anonymity during the creation phase, once your art is posted publicly, we allow you to claim your work to help prevent art theft.
(Addendum: please note that we are not accepting digital manipulations as artwork for the fest. All artwork must be created from scratch)
What can't I do?
You cannot change the central pairing (i.e. Harry/Draco) or the basic plot. This means that if a story, for example, is set during the boys' sixth year at Hogwarts, you can't turn it into a non-magical AU futurefic. You also cannot include any of the artist/author's listed squicks (MCD, mpreg, etc).
How do I choose what to remix?
As before, there are two options:
(1) If you sign up for HD_Remix in the exchange (standard) format, you will be assigned an author or artist and you choose something from their masterlist to remix. Someone else will be assigned your work to choose from. If you chose to sign-up for this format, you will be part of the H/D Remix exchange.
Each participant can designate a reasonable number of works as their "safe pieces", meaning they are ineligible to be remixed. (Note that we already consider current WIPs to be ineligible for remixing as well as pieces which have previously been remixed as part of this fest). Please don't abuse this privilege - there must be plenty of fics/art for your remixer to choose from in a variety of lengths and plots.
Each participant can also designate a "starred piece" which you would most like to have remixed. Participants are under no obligation to choose the starred piece, but must not choose the safe piece(s).
(2) If you sign up for HD_Remix in the individual format, you pick any Harry/Draco story or work of fanart and remix it. If you chose to sign-up for this format you will not be part of the exchange. The author/artist whose work you've chosen does not have to participate in the fest.
You do need permission from the author or artist to remix their work. Please check the author's or artist's LJ, AO3 or deviant.art etc. profile to see if they've posted a blanket permission statement. If so, that will suffice. If the author or artist does not give blanket permission to remix, you need to provide the mods with an email or PM from the creator, giving you permission to remix their work. Please ask the mods (snowgall and veelawings) if you have problems asking for or acquiring permission to remix for HD_Remix. We are happy to help you.
Who can sign up?
You are eligible to sign up if:
Exchange Format: You should have more than five Harry/Draco stories (drabbles do count, but only if you also have a longer fic [1,000+ words] to choose from, too) or pieces of art that can be remixed. Your stories and/or artwork are arranged somewhere (LJ, AO3, deviant.art ...) in a publicly available masterlist and that can be easily perused by your remixer. The five minimum pieces cannot include your 'safe piece'.
OR:
Individual Format: You have a particular H/D story or art in mind that you want to remix, and you can get the permission of the author/artist to do so. If you choose this format, you need not have written any H/D stories before signing up for the Remix Fest.
How long does my remixed fic need to be? How much time and effort do I need to put in my remixed artwork?
Your creation should be at least 1000 words or the equivalent in art.

Grade drei weitere Folgen von Kingdom Hearts aufgenommen. Es versetzt mich einfach so krass in meine Kindheit zurück. Das klingt vielleicht blöd aber das Spiel hat mich echt geprägt sowie meinen Charakter seehr sehr stark. Es lehrt einfach einem wichtige Werte fürs Leben kanns echt nur jedem empfehlen. Meine Lieblingsspielereihe komme was wolle :D
