Husk led Angel from the Hotel, shyly holding his hand.
"You really do look good, Legs," Husk said, smiling.
"Flattera~" Angel giggled. "Where ya takin' me?"
"Not too far. Just a few blocks," Husk smirked. Angel rolled his eyes.
"Okay, but where's our destination?" he tried.
"Just be patient," Husk chuckled at Angel's pout in response to that answer.
They walked in silence for a bit, before Husk stopped them in front of the aquarium. He tugged Angel up the steps to the front.
"The aquarium?" Angel sounded genuinely surprised.
"I heard you like blobfish," Husk said. "So I figured we could check out the exhibit."
"Husky....." Angel smiled, touched. The two walked in, Angel's smile only growing as they made their way to see the blobfish. "Look! There's one!"
"Wow," Husk stared at the....fish. "Don't be offended, but that is so ugly."
"Ha! Right?! They're so ugly they're kinda cute," Angel giggled.
"Whatever you say, Angel," Husk shook his head fondly.
They stayed at the aquarium for awhile, Angel pointing out various fish types to Husk, who happily listened.
Finally, they had to leave.
"This was fun," Angel said shyly.
"Night ain't over yet," Husk smirked.
Husk took Angel's hand again and led him back to the Hotel.
"Oo, we heading to ya room, Husky~?" Angel asked.
"No....well, maybe later," Husk said. "But for now, go sit at the bar." Angel winked at Husk, then sat in his usual spot at the bar. Husk rounded it and started making a special drink for Angel. Something not overly sweet, but just enough for the pretty spider sitting before him.
"So what else ya got planned?" Angel asked, watching Husk.
"Just wait. Here, drink this while I get one last surprise," Husk said, pushing over the glass. Angel accepted the drink, before Husk slipped into the back.
He grabbed a small plate of tiramisu, that he'd worked on the night before, from the fridge. He gently placed the ring on top, taking a deep breath.
"Here we go...." he swallowed nervously. Husk walked back out and set the plate in front of Angel, who stopped with the glass halfway up.
"Is....that tiramisu?" he asked at first. Husk nodded.
"I made it last night," he said, blushing. Angel zeroed in on the ring.
"And....what's that?" he looked up at Husk, pointing to the ring. Husk took another deep breath, then made his way to Angel's side of the bar.
"Angel.... we've been dating for a bit now, and we've known each other a good while now.....I know this feels a little fast, but it feels.....right, you know?" Husk plucked the ring up, kneeling. Angel covered his mouth with his top set of hands, Husk taking the bottom set.
"Angel, will you marry me?" Husk interrupted before he lost his nerve. Angel stared for a moment, eyes wet.
Husk looked up, face breaking into a wide grin.
"Yes, ya dummy!" Angel grinned and threw himself from the chair to tackle Husk to the ground, kissing him deeply. Husk chuckled and pulled back.
"Hold-....hold on!" he giggled. He took Angel's too left hand and slipped the ring onto his finger. Angel wiped at his eyes.
"I love ya," he said. Husk purred faintly.
