“Do you think I’m prettiest girl you’ve ever met? Don’t be honest.”
Seong-Min was knocking back the drinks without a second thought; he’d lost count of how many he’d had. He looked around the room to find someone staring at him. Confused, he drunkenly swaggered over to the person. “What are you looking at?”
Crossing her legs over each other as she sat on the bar stool, she looked at the person in the seat beside her with a smile. “You look lonely,” She began. “Willing to offer me a drink?”

Fool her once, shame on you. Fool her twice, shame on her. Merida pulled up, slowing Angus from a gallop to a trot, eyes caught by the dancing little flame, so familiar, yet so alien. The last time she followed the wisps, her mother had turned into a bear.
...but then, Merida did love adventure, and if nothing else, the wisps always led to adventure. Digging her heels in, she pushed Angus forward, caution melting away in favor of that foolhardy bravery she was known for. The trek was long as they lead her deeper into the forest, a different direction she had never been to before, and finally, settled her at the base of a tower.
Hopping down off of Angus, Merida hummed, curiously inspecting the building. Doing a full circle, her brow furrowed in confusion at the lack of any sort of door. Perhaps it was a ruin? The last remnant of a castle, and not a building all its own? But no, it was still in good repair. There was no way this was that old. Stepping back a few feet, narrowed eyes took in the open window near the top of the building.
Worth a try, right? The wisps wouldn’t just lead her to an empty tower for no reason at all. Years of practice shouting after her brothers insured her voice was loud when she called up, “Hello! Is there anyone up there? Or am I just talkin’ to stones?”
@forhapning said: 🛑 stop [merida] from doing something reckless :>
(the options were endless here, when isn’t she reckless?? lol)

“Oi, you ain’t my queen. You can’t order me about.” The words themselves were harsh, but her tone and the pout of her lips showed petulance instead. Still, she slowed to a stop, almost stumbling in the snow, but making a pretty good recovery, if she did say so herself. Her mother would have her head if she risked growing diplomatic relations by being stubborn.
Sometimes it snowed in the Highlands, but it rained far too much for it to ever really freeze over. Arendelle, as such, was a rare delight. She had always preferred the cold weather to the hot weather, found it more comfortable when she didn’t have to unpaste her curls from her head. But this? This was something else.
It was freezing, but she’d something marvelous this morning. It had been a couple, out on the water, spinning and twirling round one another, dancing. She had half a thought they were some sort of water fae or spirit, hovering above the water.and dancing on the waves.
Until she had gotten down stairs to investigate herself, that was. While the couple was gone, the water still existed, but it was frozen solid. They hadn’t been wetting their toes, they’d simply been sliding about on the ice, ever so graceful and having such fun.
She didn’t see why she couldn’t try the same.
“I’ve seen the people on the lake. I know your people dance on the ice. I’ve seen it.” Merida pointed out, crossing her arms over her chest and blowing her hair out of her face. She paused, relaxing her stance and considering that perhaps she was being rude or offensive and didn’t even realize it, “...is it something religious? Or a ceremony of some sort? It didn’t look like it, but I admit I don’t know a lot about your culture, so I apologize if so.”

With a bottle between his fingers, William wanders aimlessly through dark streets, his destination entirely unknown. Perhaps he doesn't need one, content to go where his feet take him for the moment as he sings old sea shanties quietly to himself, taking in the scenes around him.
“Come all you young sailor men, listen to me, I'll sing you a song of the fish in the sea; And it's... Windy weather, boys, stormy weather, boys, When the wind blows, we're all together, boys; Blow ye winds westerly, blow ye winds, blow, Jolly sou'wester, boys, steady she goes....”
"Guess who's back?" The Pirate grins bright and wide, arms open in a gesture that clearly says here I am. "Now I 'ave been on quite an adventure."
