Hook tilted his head as he watched groups of people glid by on skates. He was still trying to wrap his head around the idea of ice skating. If you asked him, water was meant to swim in not glid across. Even if it was frozen. lifting the cigarette to his lips he took a long drag. Relishing in the way the smoke burned his lungs a little. At his core, he had no idea why he’d even decided to show up. It wasn’t his kind of scene. But he had the night off, and nothing better to do. So there he was. Shaking his head he tossed the last bit of his cig to the ground crushing it beneath his boot.  “So, fucking stupid,” he spoke out loud without really thinking.
