NOW FACE IT, YOU'RE JUST AN ENEMY
One of the things I hate so much about season 2 of Arcane is that they never let Viktor be angry.
At the end of the first season, when the trajectory was different, he was getting angry. We get these flashes of anger when Mel wanted to use hextech to make weapons and when Jayce made comments about the undercity. We see him experiencing frustration almost constantly, interspersed with the joy of regaining some mobility and his hope for hextech. The last time we see him in season 1, he's in the council meeting, and he is clearly seething.
The very first thing they did in season 2 was take this from him. His character arc could have gone so many different ways.
I imagined Viktor as an undercity savior, using hextech to help those in need.
I imagined Viktor as a violent revolutionary.
I imagined Viktor taking control of his destiny and chasing salvation no matter what, slowly modifying away his connection to Jayce and humanity.
I imagined Viktor angry and excited and scared and making bad decisions.
But instead, the very first thing they did in season 2 was take these emotions from him.
His lack of agency in season 2 feeds into this larger issue where the conflict between Piltover and Zaun is never really resolved.
Remus Lupin as Nick Miller from New Girl is just so right to me.
Being depressed in a way that makes him irritated at Everyone and Angry hal
I finally got to @peacekeeperangel 's dice challenge for the Cookie Pirate OCs. She's not quite a pirate, but it counts, right?

Some people would say you’re a viper or a cobra. No, you’re a hognose. Dramatic and with lackluster venom pretending to be something you’re not, a cobra. The best mage in existence.
*Cyran gently chuckles*
I must certainly give you credit for such an elegant affront. I could hardly have done it better. A shame it was aimed at me, however, so your accomplished expression does not serve you any favors.
You best consider this a warning. It is not advisable to provoke me.
